My cousin, whom I love dearly, was diagnosed with uterine cancer.
I walked into my bedroom and found my cat Pweeqk dying. She was gone before we reached the vet's office.
Really, I'm not looking for encouragement, exactly. I know that things could be much worse. The lymphoma is only a possibility; besides, I beat it once and I can beat it again if I must. Stage one uterine cancer is highly curable, especially since they caught it very early. And my beautiful little Pweeqk lived almost 11 years, surrounded by love and good care.
I just need a little warmth. It really has been an awful day.
