I have a call into mu hubby , but he is up to his elbows in grease and will call me back later. It is really a formality , if i want it I will get it is how it usually goes , I just have to pretend to let him make the call. so i am almost certain it is a go , but you know it is easier to get the official okay though.

I'm pretty sure Connie would take Mini if I told her about this, and I'm sure we could arrange the trip at least half way to get her. Of course a permanent home versus a foster/rescue situation would be prefered, let me know.

I could possibly due a leg of transport if it was on the weekend (and by me, I mean Zach would probably be willing to take a drive to the DC area and tote along Uncle Fred).

Dr. Mom, none of your older children would be able to divide up weekly walking/exercising of the dogs? I don't know if you do dog parks, or jogging, or what, but you don't think it would be possible to take them for a run 2-3 times a week? I know doggy day care is really expensive, but even just getting some harder exercise a few times a week really helps most dogs.

Or your little ones, even (I don't know what ages your children are but I know they vary) can't do hide-and-seek games with the dogs and such to tire them out?

this! I was amazed at how quickly and easily chaz pulled together to get Wilson out here to me--it wasn't as far to go, but still!

Well, now, I wouldn't go that far. He did get stuck with this inadvertantly, and has to deal with a tremendous burden of stress from other sources.
