Wooo for leaving the hospital, that's a great update!
You might not remember me, but I worked at the winter Woofstock in 2010 (I usually work at every Woofstock) and I popped over a couple times and said hello to you at your booth. I've been following your updates on here and have been sending positive vibes your way! Hope you continue to improve.

So there was a bit of a change with getting out of the hospital when I'd said. Turns out I have a Pulmonary embolism in my lungs (small) and they wanted to make sure that was safe and I'm on more medications. I'm now on my way home right now in the car! Can't wait to get there! A friend is picking Sierra up for me and I'll see her soon too! Yay!!! And it's a long weekend, so I don't have to go back to Kingston until Tuesday!

We'll be at a hotel, it's part of a program for cancer patients. We'll be there during the weeks for 6 more weeks, and home on the weekends. Let me know what's going on for you
if I don't end up having to go on Wednesday, Allie and I wanted to make a trip up to Kingston in a few weeks to visit (and meet Carter), once everything settles down 
I'm back in Kingston, staying in a hotel near the hospital and it looks like we'll be eating out a LOT over the next 5 weeks! We're also trying to follow my new strict diet as well, which is going to be very tough to do together. But we'll try, we may have to make a few exceptions (like rice tonight with my Thai dinner which I'm not supposed to have and didn't eat half of it).
It was amazing at home this weekend! There was a lot of organizing/cleaning to do, which I was trying to not overwhelm myself with but it needed to be done. My parents, and Matt's dad, and my sister came to visit. Getting to snuggle with Sierra was awesome too. She was so happy to be home, but I'm happy that she loves the kennel as she was happy to be dropped off again today. She might be tired of that after a few weeks though. Leaving happened way too quickly, I'm just happy it's a 4 day week of treatments and we'll be back home soon.
In terms of my brain, my mental capabilities are improving each day back to my normal "smarts", which is nice. Since the surgery I've been having issues with vision, major language issues, memory, and a few others. I'm certainly not back to myself, but I can type a post that seems normal now
Anyways, that's all for now. I have Radiation tomorrow at 9am, so I should go to bed early (and hopefully Carter will have a decent night!) Thanks for listening

And yes, we hope to visit you within the next few weeks. We can make a good day trip of it, so we can play it by ear depending on how you're feeling.
