Thank you for all the encouraging posts, I really appreciate hearing from you guys

This morning bright and early I'm going to Radiation by my self from the hotel (they get a taxi at no charge, no worries there). It'll be weird to be there on my own without Matt and Carter, but they were up much more than they normally are last night so they're sleeping in. THEN WE'RE GOING HOME!! WOO! I really have to appreciate these weekends home, they're a different kind of healing

Renee and others saw my post yesterday and I just didn't have time to cross post, it was kind of a crazy busy day and I didn't get much done!

Officially my hair is falling out. It seems to be sticking to around my surgery spot (where Radiation is focused), not as much around the rest of my head, and for now I can mask it by making my part cover the thin part, but we'll see how much continues to fall out. I've always wanted some crazy red, curly hair, so a wig is something I could look forward to, and I could have fun with other wigs too!

My friend across the street has lost most of her hair from chemo. She and her husband picked out several different wigs.......a few really "hot" wigs (according to her husband! LOL) Understand that they are in their 60's, so that conversation was AWKWARD! LOL She loves a few of them so much that she says even when her hair comes back, she's keeping/wearing them! haha

My mom hated her first wig and just walked around bald (this was when I was about ten or so) her second one, when I was sixteen, was made out of MY hair and she rocked it all the time.
