Great pics! Looks like such a fun trip, I'd love to go to the eastern states. Totally agree with you on speed limits and divided highways, and some of the other social differences. The ticks sound awful, I've never encountered ticks...

And congrats on a great time at the shows!

I LOVE all the pics! They turned out amazing.

Here in Ottawa, 90% of the gas stations are pre-pay. It's much less common to find one that isn't. I've noticed that most in smaller towns or along the highways are still pay-inside.

(And a side note, we do have pre-pay gas in Peterborough, Matt uses it all the time no matter where he goes. I hate it and it hates my card so I refuse to use it and I still go inside.)

Huh strange, the ones around Toronto (and outside) are all pay inside or no pre pay other than late at night.

Xandra we were gone almost a full month. We left on the 28th of June and got back Monday early morning.

ITs too bad we didn't meet more chazzers. We loved the trip so much we wanted to turn around and do it again So you might get another chance.

No I mean where you HAVE to pre pay. So you go in and give them a 20 and they authorize the pump for 20 dollars. I found it highly inconvenient. I had no idea how much it would take to fill my car. So I would give them more than it would take and then have to go back in for my change.

I like paying with my debit card at the pump.

:rofl1: I had never even heard of it... went to fill up Jessie's car when I was down there, and after trying 3 different pumps decided to go inside and be like WTF. Then I was like "uhhhh, I have no idea how much it costs to fill up her car!"

AH yeah, okay, I saw those in VA, forgot they had stations like that! Yeah, that'd be really annoying. I love my pay-at-pump.
