I am told this every single day. And when I am not told I am a bad christian, I am told I am not even one at all.
I believe in God. I have accepted Jesus. I am not republican or conservative. I am pro gay marriage. I am politically pro choice. I am open minded. I am open to learning new things. I am tolerant. I do believe people are for the most part inherently good. I don't take the bible too literally. I even *gasp* use the brain that God gave me to help myself come to conclusions, instead of relying completely on what other christians tell me the bible means. I think for myself. I don't ram my thoughts, beliefs, and opinions of God down others' throats. And above all else, I believe in respect and compassion towards those that hold a faith different than my own, or no belief at all.
Apparently, this makes me a bad christian, or not one at all.
But in the mean time, I will be proud to be called a bad christian if what I do, say, and think makes me so. I'd rather be a bad one before I'd ever change to a "good" one.
