I hope the original post wasn't because of the post I posted the other day about the lady in the wheelchair and her dog not peeing right, and not having enough money to pay for a vet visit.. I checked up on that story and that dog is just fine.. says her friend.

From a group of people who are SO against being told what to do, who are SO for freedom of speech, and SO for rights for all....
You aren't half particular about who is allowed to do what.
You can't have your cake and eat it too.
You can't say I can do what I want, but as long as you follow these rules...
Of course people shouldn't let animals suffer - but I am YET to see one person who truly doesn't give ONE SINGLE thought about their dog post on a specialised dog forum... To even LOOK on google for "dog forum" says something.

I have every right to say that no, I don't think you should get a dog if you cannot afford food, water AND basic vet care for it. Obviously emergencies happen and you run into hard times- no one is saying that doesn't happen or you should surrender your dog right then and there.
Dogs ARE a financial responsibility and you have to take that into consideration when you decide to get one.

Ok for those of you who understood where I was trying to go here great, for those of you who did not may I clarify this. I was in no way saying that because you are broke now you should not have a pet. Hell even the homeless have them What I am pointing out is is you ask for help and then it is offered but not what you want to hear then you allow the animal to suffer until it dies how is that ever right ? I have helped or offered help here to many a member in need. I have seen many a member go above and beyond. But if you come here for help and yet ignore that fact s as they are given and still allow that pet to lay in pain and suffer and claim you can not let it go because you love it what is wrong with that picture ? NEVER DID I SAY NOT HAVING MONEY MAKES YOU BAD !!!!! In the past I had to surrender a pet I loved with all my heart because I fell on hard times and it was sick. It was then I vowed that if I were able to help the ones who needed it I would until the day they shove the earth over me. I have compassion for my fellow man you do not know the half of it. When you can say you love the animal and yet allow the animal to suffer because you love it too much to give it up that is where I say you are wrong. I may never know what happened to my beloved Nikko but I too was 17 and pregnant and Nikko was ill and I could do nothing for her other then to bring her into the shelter and hope that they could save her or end her suffering. That is when I said if I can save an animal in the future I will and will never turn my back and to this day I have kept my word. l
Oh now really..... no one is attacking you. They might disagree with your delivery.... but haven't you done the same in other threads? You don't dislike the person you just dislike their delivery or their actions at the moment. We all get over it and are able to remain civil and friendly. The same will happen here. You even said in the titled that you will make people mad and you don't care. It seems that you do care after all. No one here is attacking you and no one is out to get you and I think you know that. If you need time to take a breather then by all means please do.... but don't just leave because people don't agree with something you have said. You have a thicker skin than that and I have seen it.
You are right that I have a thick skin but as far as attacking go back. I never said having no money is the crime and I never was attacking a person for lack of it. What I was and will attack is the person who asks for help and answers and then gives excuses and sits back and watches an animal suffer until it mercifully dies. My skin is thick but even so I have a breaking point. I deal with the neglected and abused animals daily and this is something I can not take. To say I have no compassion ?? Yea right how about the compassion for the animal ? People have welfare, churches and many other charities to fall back on and what about the animal that is kept in the home and allowed to suffer ? What does the animal have to fall back on ? How can we misconstrue love of a pet with not being able or willing to let the pet go rather then to allow it to lay and suffer until it dies ? You love it too much to not place it in a shelter but not enough to not have it lay at home suffering in pain and die ? You tell me where I am wrong here. You tell me where I said if you have no money you have no right to own a pet. How many of you remember Binn ? How many of you tried along with me ? How many of you wrote Binn off? I have not I am still trying.

I think some members here are getting burned out from hearing the same thing over and over and over again. The animal is sick, but WAIT! Its not my fault, I'm too young, too far away, too poor... As squirtsmom said. What happens when you ask for the vets name and number to send some $$... and "magically" the animal got better..?
Just as we are interpreting certain posts on THIS thread different ways, as its been said before, How do we know that the threads, "pleas for help" aren't written in exaggeration? After all, you and I can see the same exact thing and say it totally different when retelling the tale
Honestly, I think its damned if you do, damned if you don't in a situation like this. No matter what you do, people are going to judge you. So, naturally, you NEED to do whats best for you, your situation, AND the animals, children, whatever.

I absolutely agree with you. This was a heart string case... and honestly, I tried to help... I would have send some money, I would have made calls to see if anybody was able to help... but in the end it wasn't wanted.
So yes, it pulls at my strings to think about how there's a dog suffering... when it doesn't need to suffer. Everybody's living situation can change at the drop of a dime... it is what you make out of it- that is the question. I think there are many, many dogs who are owned by homeless people who have a better and more loved life than "poochie" in some rich lady's house who gets no attention and truly only is a decoration. But the homeless guys love their animals and make it work, somehow.
As to the OP... well, I thought you got balls to start a thread called "I am angry and I don't care who gets mad". So, why do you care now? Because you didn't get the responses you wanted to hear? Nobody "bashed" you here... so leaving is plain ol' silly. I respect you because you wear your heart on your sleeve, but I'm sorry, in some situations you have no tact and that makes you come across pretty harsh. Just my 0.2 cents if that's what you're wondering.
There are people who have fallen upon hard times and are doing everything they can. It's important to distinguish between those who genuinely ask for advice and those that post for the attention. Help individuals that are sincere and ignore those whose motive for posting is questionable. It's as simple as that.
Sorry if you feel that I have no tact. Sorry if you think that I would leave a forum because I got bashed . Anyone can bash me all they want that is their right. I would leave a forum for one reason and one alone. That would be that people will defend anyone guilty of abuse and neglect ! I am not leaving Chaz will have to ban me. I was happy to see so many stand up and say they too are not going to watch animals suffer. Never will I say some one with lack of funds should not own an animal what I said is simply this if you can sit back and watch it die you are wrong. I read every post here and somehow you all took this to mean one person. I never named any names did I ? I never mentioned a specific case did I ? I clearly stated that this has been happening a lot lately and I never see that allowing an animal to suffer for what ever reason is right. Hell yes it angers me. If you think I lack compassion and tact maybe you ought to walk a day in my shoes. Maybe you should hold the paw of an injured animal that has been left to die in pain. You think I am bad ok so be it. I was amazed at how people placed words into my post that were not there. I do love everyone who stepped up and said they feel that the animals suffering was the issue because that was the issue. If a child has irresponsible parents that is sad but I know enough to know this children these days are taught to speak out against abuse in schools and yes even animal abuse and given numbers they can call for help and if not they are not looking. It is ok to go broke but never , NEVER ok to allow an animal to suffer NEVER ! Now if you think that I was talking about any one particular incident then that was you reading what you will. If you thought I was calling names then you read as you will I called an abuser evil and that I stand by. there are so many people willing to help and most animal shelters have our numbers all you need to do is make the call !! Maybe I can and do come off harsh but when you hear and see and do what I do maybe you would understand it a bit better. You know I personally would love to have a puppy that I paid for and picked out but because of the one dog in my life I had to let go so it could be saved I will never have a pup because there are far too many out there crying for me to save them even if it means I have to end their lives. I do try to offer advice here as well but when the advice is ignored and the animal allowed to suffer then where does it go ? I do know that there are many of you who despise me and that is fine but know this about me if you asked me for help I am the one that would be there because I do care.
