This is a spin from Skittle's thread...
Seems to me like everywhere you (the majority here?) go, your dogs go with you, and that's the end of it. If invited to a party or an event at someone's house, either both you and your dogs will come, or no one comes.
Am I the only one who happily leave the dogs home when I come to other peoples' house for social events? Don't take me wrong, I love my dogs beyond measure, and for everyday, do everything in my power to ensure they have a best life possible - but I don't see anything wrong with leaving them at home if they're not welcomed by others. I am crazy about my dogs, but accept the fact that not everybody else is.
My dogs are a very important part of my life, but I never once feel the resentment toward someone just because they don't accept my dogs. I guess, to me, someone doesn't like my dogs doesn't mean they don't like me . My relationship with everyone I know is independent from the fact that I have dogs.
Am I really that odd?
