About your dog(s):

Zuma 3 year old border collie mix
Zuma competes in disc and agility and is an awesome trick dog. She loves her job, adores putting on shows and loves getting pet by kids. She's my solid dog, the one I can trust to come through no matter what.

Zinga 2 year old koolie
Zinga is an awesome dog, she not only does everything I ask of her, she excels at it. She competes in disc, agility and dock diving and is one of our best dogs for shows. She does everything at full throttle and is insanely talented. Even though she is one of the most difficult dogs to work with, I love that about her. She constantly challenges, constantly keeps me on my toes and expanding as a trainer.

Zip Tie 1 year old koolie

Zip started out as my husbands dog, but I recently took over his training and use him for shows. His is all go and all boy. I always joke that in 3-4 years he will be a great dog, but the reality is that he's already great. We are learning to work together and I am super excited to see what he's capable of.

Renegade 1 year old cattle dog
Ren is one of the goofiest dogs I have. She is so full of personality and brains it's ridiculous. She is a very talented trick dog, loves agility and disc. I hope to use her for frisbee in shows next season.

Mighty Mouse 4 year old whippet
Mighty is a dog all her own. She adores everyone she meets, has a crazy love for frisbees and tennis balls and has a full repertoire of quirks up her sleeve. She is trained in flyball so I am hoping to incorporate that into shows next season.

Taboo 2 year old border staffy
Taboo is the newest member of our pack. She has already wiggled her way into one of my favorites. This girl has athleticism, drive and brains, no better package than that! She is also crazy about the water and has already debuted in our shows with dock diving.

Interests: My life revolves around dogs. I have an aquarium too that I'm completely nerdy about and my husband is building me a custom bobber motorcycle.

Favorite music: Alternative

Favorite book: Game of Thrones series

Favorite quote: "Don't waste words on people who deserve your silence. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can say is nothing at all."

Random fact: I am a black belt in karate!

About your dog(s): Juno is my 5 year old Boxer, best friend and best dog ever.

Happy is the geriatric Border Collie-ish mix. She's super sweet, perhaps not the brightest, and has a lot of annoying habits. But when you're old and deaf, who cares.

Lucy is an 8 year old Bichon/Poodle mix. Stereotypical small dog. ;)

Cajun is a 1 year old Doberman. She's... special. Intelligent, goofy, and a complete clutz.

Picture of everyone in my signature!

Interests: Dogs, reading, baking, eating delicious things

Favorite music: I suck at placing music into genres. I like One Direction, Mayday Parade, Taylor Swift, Imagine Dragons, A Day To Remember... blah blah blah.

Favorite book: Harry Potter series, The Hunger Games trilogy, To Kill A Mockingbird

Favorite quote: "Happiness can be found, even in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light" - Albus Dumbledore :p

Random fact: I've never been on an airplane, and don't think I can ever do it without some heavy drugging beforehand.

I think I only ever have my picture taken on Juno's birthday. Which is also a random fact.

Feist is my ever entertaining 10 month old dorkfavorite border collie.
She enjoys being told to do stuff, running through tunnels, sitting on anybody and everybody's laps, toys, and tummy rubs. She is so cool and I am so happy she's mine.

Wesley is my 3 year old derpoodle 'nephew', he is the most ridiculous dog ever. He is dramatic, lazy, and enjoys ear massages and counter surfing. He is Feist's favorite chew toy.

Interests: Tennis, Dogs, Photography, Sciencystuff, Computer Programming, yadda yadda
Favorite music: neon trees, coldplay, ingrid michaelson, onerepublic, the beatles, green day, I'll stop there.

About your dog(s):

Kimma is my heart and soul. She's the best dog ever though she's ALWAYS keeping me on my toes. I wouldn't be a dog trainer at all if it weren't for her. She's 4.5 years old:

Jari is the puppy (though he's not a puppy anymore since he's 17 months old). He's SUCH a funny dog, and not a day goes by that he doesn't do something to make me laugh hysterically. I'm hoping to continue progressing in agility as I would like him to be my next competition dog:

Bubbles is just weird, in a good way. I got her when she was 1.5 years old, and she's 4.5 now. She loves people and wants to be touching you at all times. She's going to make a great therapy dog someday and is a heck of a show dog already. If only there were dogs to show against around here LOL:

Pentti is living with the in-laws, but he's still mine haha. He is loyalty in dog form. He's such a gentleman, and is an awesome working therapy dog. I couldn't be more proud of this guy considering he was taken to a shelter because he was "untrainable," luckily my breeder got him and turned him in to a show dog but he was attacked outside of the ring and therefore became fearful and developed RGer tendencies, and he's overcome all of that in the year and a half I had him before he was therapy certified. He's amazing and my in-laws LOVE him. And spoil him like crazy. He is 6.5 years old:

Interests: Dogs, cello-playing.......
Favorite music: Classical (obviously), hip-hop/rap, random other bands
Favorite book: The Hobbit
Favorite quote: The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is just to love and be loved in return
Random fact: I have a Masters degree in Cello Performance and I'm the oldest of 7 kids :)

About your dog(s): Rowan T. Brittany is an 8 year old BestDogEver. He is my heart and soul. If I could literally never be separated from him, ever... that would be ideal. :p He's sassy, he's a princess, he's way too smart, and he's perfect. He's solid, basically bombproof, a take anywhere do anything sort of dog. He's really one of those once-in-a-lifetime dogs and I'm so, so grateful for him.

Riff is a 3 year old Aussie/GSP mix and is my Little Dude. He's so silly, so goofy, so hilarious, and so sweet, you just can't help but love him. He's challenging, but he's my buddy, and I can't imagine life without him now. :)

Linus isn't mine, but we live with him. He's a young Chihuahua mix of some sort... I suspect Chi/Italian Greyhound/gremlin with maybe some other stuff thrown in. The shelter said he was about a year and a half, but I suspect he's much younger, closer to 9 months or so. He's only been here for a few months, but he's a good little boy, even if he has some bad habits. He's also Riff's BFF.

Interests: Dogs dogs dogs. When I'm not being a dog nerd I'm reading, playing video games, or baking.
Favorite music: Depends on my mood! I always, always love The Postal Service and Nickel Creek. Bruce Springsteen, Smashing Pumpkins, Sara Bareilles, A Fine Frenzy, Clutch, Barenaked Ladies, Jason Mraz, The Joy Formidable, Lady Gaga, Ke$ha, and more are frequently on my playlists.
Favorite book: The Harry Potter series, hands down. I also love Fire Bringer by David Clement-Davies.
Favorite quote: "You can't shut off the risk and the pain without losing the love that remains." ("Human Touch", Bruce Springsteen)
Random fact: Very large fish freak me out. I love the aquarium, but the giant grouper make me feel really uneasy.

I don't have many pictures of myself because I've been really self-conscious of my weight, but here's one from yesterday, where Rowan was suspicious of me kissing his ear:

And here's one from a year and a half-ish ago, when I was 50 lbs lighter, blonde (!) and really enjoying eyeliner :p

About your dog(s): Bailey is a 14 year old ESS from primarily American show lines. Batsh!t crazy but hilariously fun. Gabby is an 8 year old ESS from BYB lines through rescue. Such a great dog, such an easy dog, has many health issues: 2 bad eyes, 2 bad hips, 1 bad elbow, and she's hypothyroid.
Interests: Dogs mostly.
Favorite music: Country and Cloud Cult basically
Favorite book: probably the Harry Potter series
Favorite quote: "Accidents don't just happen," my dad.
Random fact: My whole family refers to me as "Meg." I didn't realize this until a couple years ago. This is odd because I've never introduced myself as such nor do I refer to myself by that name, ever. My friends call me Megan.

Interests: Books, gaming, cooking, gardening, dogs, watching too much TV, hiking, photography, and so much more...

Favorite music: It really depends on my mood...

Favorite book: Dune

The Dogs

Zander is a '05 Siberian Husky, neutered male. He's a grumpy old man these days, really just prefers laying around and grouching at people. He has a super crush on Quinn's momma, and he is my heart dog. <3 Back in May he suffered from spontaneous pneumothorax (collapsed lung). As a result, his exercise is severely limited. But he's happy sleeping the day away.

Brigadoon's Maiden of Miscief, "Harleen Quinzel" or "HarleyQuinn"...or really just "Quinn". No matter what you end up calling her, she's all sass and shark teeth with her snuggles. She was born in Feb '14, and is a split-faced female Border Collie. Absolutely perfect in just about every way possible, and a huge prospect for many, many things in the future. Her and BeAu are absolutely inseparable. I think he's found his own heart dog.

Interests: Dogs, coffee, make-up, food, life in general, exploring, driving cross-country, traveling, starting a family, photography, writing (fiction and non), canine and equine genetics, web design, zodiac, all sorts of things. Possibly all things. At any given moment I'm googling something.
Favorite music: Right now it is Beyonce for some unknown reason, but I listen to anything and everything. Anyone subscribed to my Spotify would know!
Favorite book: Will always and forever be the Sotweed Factor.
Favorite quote: The Serenity Prayer, and a bit adapted for us Pagans, to.

Random fact: We (finally!) moved to Colorado this last May. And we are THRILLED with it. Now, anyway. When we first arrived we were super creeped because everyone was staring at us hardcore.

About your dog(s):

Trent ll 5 year old male ll German Shepherd Dog

Best friend/companion, champion of holding down the couch (and hogging the bed), super self appointed guard dog, and all around a wonderfully fun dog. Only slightly insane. Tolerates little animals, really likes cats, and adores children. Smart but impulsive as hell. Tons of energy, moderate drive, but also (somehow) lazy as I am, which works out great. Willing to throw himself into anything I ask of him, and capable of everything. Love him.

Interests:
Dogs, naturally. Taking pictures and being a nerd about camera and gear. Music. I have a new found love of reptiles, snakes more specifically. Developed a renewed interest in reading. Do TV shows and movies count? Makeup, fashion, and beautiful shoes. Just about any kind of retail therapy, really. And food, which I blame my foodie friend for.

Favorite music:
Lana Del Rey, Natalia Kills, Oh Land, MS MR, London Grammar, The Lumineers, Florence + the Machine, The Glitch Mob, Ellie Goulding, Birdy, Vienna Teng, Phildel, The Paper Kites, The Civil Wars, Paper Aeroplanes, Of Monsters and Men, Sleigh Bells, Sara Bareilles, Gabrielle Aplin, Lykke Li, and a really random variety of electronic music and hip hop/rap music. Also, most things Disney, and musicals.

Favorite book:
Young Adult favorites would be the His Dark Material series, Daughter of Smoke and Bone, and almost anything by Neil Gaiman.

Otherwise, my favorite still remains The Art of Racing in the Rain and The Little Prince.

Favorite quote:
Everybody has a secret world inside of them. I mean everybody. All of the people in the whole world, I mean everybody — no matter how dull and boring they are on the outside. Inside them they've all got unimaginable, magnificent, wonderful, stupid, amazing worlds... Not just one world. Hundreds of them. Thousands, maybe.

- Neil Gaiman
I am selfish, private and easily bored. Will this be a problem?

- Neil Gaiman
I shall look at you out of the corner of my eye, and you will say nothing. Words are the source of misunderstandings.

- Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
Random fact:
I absolutely love rainy days. I love the smell and sound of rain, and overcast days are just about perfect in terms of temperature/weather for me. Whenever it rains, I always open up a window (and sometimes I'll play loud sad music and pretend my life is deep and melancholy... but really I'll just be looking at puppy pictures and pedigrees).

Name: Alex (or Mm, milos, etc)
Occupation: SAHM, going back to school soon, also do occasional work as a children's party motivator and dog sitter/trainer
Age: 24. Also feel strange to be older than a lot of you after joining this forum at 16!
Dogs: Milo, an 8 year old puppy mill jrt (possibly mixed) with some scary OCD and aggression issues. He's since been medicated and trained, and does much better now, but he's still carefully managed. He also might potentially eat my daughter, so is largely in my parent's care.

Benji, 8 year old wheaten (technically my mom's dog). The dumbest dog I've ever met. Oddly complacent for a terrier.

Interests: dogs, kids, reptiles, sharks, homesteading, reading, outdoorsy stuff, cooking, themed parties, museums, traveling, art not of the fine variety.

Music: mainly an odd variety of folk and hip hop. I like weird experimental stuff and stuff like Mongolian Throat Singing. Mostly it's along the lines of James Taylor/Trampled by Turtles/Lil Wayne

Books: Crime and Punishment, Fight Club, The Poisonwood Bible, Shakespeare. I don't care for fantasy and wish I had more chazzers to talk books with.

Quotes: be the change you wish to see in the world.

Random facts: I'm building a small indoor aquaponics system with goldfish right now.
