Since the US Thanksgiving is fast approaching and some friends have been doing it on facebook I thought it would be nice to do it here.

Everyday post something you are thankful for. anything doesn't matter what it is. Keep posting a new one everyday until Thanksgiving

I am thankful for my husband. He's my best friend. He understands that being a stay at home mom isn't all bon bons and soap operas (that's only sometimes LOL) he knows it's hard work and he appreciates me. When I need a break he takes the reins while I get some ME time. I don't know what life would be like without him but I don't want to fine out.

Im thankful for books

thanks for taking me on adventures, teaching me lessons, making me laugh, cry, fall in love, learn and taking me away from my life to spend some time as someone else. Thanks for being there for me when I thought I had no-one, thanks for giving me words to live by and characters to relate to and new words and perspectives to explore.

Well more specifically, thank you JK Rowling. You wrote the first books I ever fell in love with. You taught me that love conquers all obstacles and inside everyone of us, is a lil bit of magic
Thanks for creating "the boy who lived" Harry Potter.. you gave me a best friend during the years where I didn't have any.
and of course thanks for creating books that I enjoyed as a kid.. and enjoy even more now as a college student

Today I am thankful for my appliances May sound like a crazy one, and I'll be posting 'bigger' things I'm thankful for in the days to come, but today, it's DEFINITELY my appliances! haha

My washer and dryer have been going non stop since 7am I shudder to think of dragging all that stuff down to the river/lake and beating them on rocks, my family would be wearing their clothes a WHOLE lot more than one time, and sleeping on sheets/blankets much longer than a week if I had to do that I can assure you, LOL

We did that year before last I think, and upgraded to a larger one while we were at it. Last winter was the furnace (didn't replace, but spent plenty getting repairs) And also the sensor went out in my dryer, which luckily I am married to a very handy man and it only cost $3.00 for a new part to repair. *woot*

TODAY my microwave made crazy buzzing noises and sparked a FLAME inside! (it had some progresso soup in a microwave safe bowl so I don't know WTF is up with that!) It's not even a year old yet and we only use it to heat soup/leftovers/frozen dinner thingies, defrost stuff, and the like! I think it's going out to the trash tonight and I'll live without one for a few days, LOL

Even when my appliances are acting crazy, I am thankful for the ones that are behaving :lol-sign:

The bf,work(no matter how much I complain about it-I did finally get full time!!!), all my critters, the horses semi behaving lately my new migraine meds, and the fact that everyone in the family seems to be getting along at the moment

I am thankful for my doggies who love me no matter what. And who are all curled up in incredibly cute positions, willing to hang out because that's what I'm doing. <3

Today I am thankful for Hannah. She's the love of my life. She makes me laugh constantly with her silly antics and it's simply amazing to watch her grow and learn everyday. I just want to squeeze her and never ever let go She's made me a better person and I've learned so much since having her. I'm thankful for our morning rituals. She comes into my bed and we snuggle up for a few minutes and then we just act silly. We usually spend about half an hour in my bed in the morning just being goofy lol it's a great way to start the day. my day never fails to start off with smiles and laughter and that's definitely something to be thankful for

I'm thankful to be married to my husband who is also my best friend. We've been together for almost 8 years! I love that he loves our dogs as much as I do. Whenever I tell them that their "daddy" is coming home from work, they run to the front door and get SO excited. It makes me thankful that our future children are going to have such a great father, after watching how he interacts with our dogs!

Today I am thankful for school. Not to further MY education, but to get the kids on the bus and OUT OF HERE

I am in a PMS cleaning frenzy mode and have been since about 6:30am They were in my way and now they are safely ensconced at school filling their darling little heads with knowledge Thank you school!

Today I'm thankful for my job. Even though it's certainly not the best job I've ever had and I hope to have a better job in the nearest future possible, and I complain about it a lot, I'm thankful I have some sort of income and I get to spend my workdays playing with awesome dogs.

For once, I am thankful for Tempie's chicken intolerance. Without it, I would have come home to a very different situation that day. And I am sooo thankful for her resilience and ability to forgive the human race for being really crappy.

I'm thankful I live in a city full of awesome museums where I can go see really neat stuff whenever I want (ish).
