With all thats going on lately, I think we need to make something positive out of it.

So I think we should set up a transport list. It's something we've done on another forum I'm on and I like the idea. It's like a "go to list" thats quick and easy when we need transporters.

If you'd like to be part of this list, post your information on this:

Location: [state + rough location within state]
Distance willing to travel: [x number of hours, in what directions]
Vehicle: [enough info to indicate size]
Extra Crates: [yes or no to whether you have an extra crate for the dog(s)]
Pull from shelter: [yes or no to whether you are willing to pull from a shelter]
Hold overnight: [yes or no to whether you can hold the dog(s) overnight]
Times Available: [times you're available, e.g., weekends only, weekdays only, random]

I'll leave it up for a couple weeks maybe then put together one big thread with all the people willing to help and there information.

Sound cool? :)

Distance willing to travel: 2-4 hours, any direction

Vehicle: A Ford Mustang and an Eagle Talon. Small/Medium crates will fit in the Talon. Larger dogs need to have good enough manners to ride loose.

Pull from shelter: Not if it involves making a misreprisentation. With the full knowledge of the shelter, sure.

Hold overnight: Yes, or longer in an emergency, so long as the dog is not DA

Times Available: For transport, weekends only, for hold overnight, it can probably be arranged at any time.
