If they ate that much I can pretty much guess that they were upchucking it as soon as they were able to.

First it's hard enough to go into an establishment alone. I do it, I don't like to. THen to have to be treated that way just raises my hackles something fierce.

You come on over here and we will go to Chilis together. I would like that.

What's funny about a lot of those girls is that they're exactly the ones who end up popping out babies and gaining weight they never lose (I've seen so many of the thin popular girls from high school look like this now)
Yep........high school was only 4 years of your life and for MANY of "those girls" that was the high light and peak of their life, it's NEVER going to be any better than it was in those few years. A ton of them just have a long life of disappointment ahead of them, especially when they learn people don't worship them like they once did in HS or college.

I can't tell you how many of "those kids" I've run into working dead end jobs as cashiers/waitresses........and somehow, they STILL try the old "look down their nose" thing like we were still in HS and they were "king" as they take my order and bring my food :rofl1: And you know, I let them.........those were all the 'glory days' they are ever going to have, I'm not cruel enough to be cruel to them :)
(though it is tempting at times, LOL)

Keep in mind no one likes them. They probably can't stand each other. They probably talk badly about each other, too.

I bet they both think they're really great, though.

just to clarify, being popular in highschool and eating like a pig doesn't make you a bitch

those girls are bitches because they are.. there really is no formula about it.

me and my best friends probably look a whole lot like those two girls ""like..OMG!", eating like pigs, gossiping, and "OMG SHUT UP!" included., but we would never say those things

Oh, of course
I know plenty of good hearted, popular, good looking people. It's just the ones who think the world revolves around them and anyone different is worthless who suck

yep. When I say "those girls" I mean girls like "The Plastics" LOL

Both my girls are very, VERY slim........to the point of being accused of being anorexic by the school nurse  but they pack away the food. Especially Chris (the smaller of the two @ a size ZERO) she eats as much or MORE food as her dad and 20 y/o brother. High metabolisms, shapely figures, and pretty faces do not make beeatches.........nasty attitudes make them.

Why would you be friends with the mean ones though? Just curious.

As for me..
I have a friend who is a bit bitchy/mean.. the thing is, the mean comments she makes is just a fault of hers.. all in all, shes really fun to be around and a nice girl. she just has this THING with people that are overweight, she would never say it loud enough for them to hear..but its like word vomit, she HAS to say something.

I could never be friends with somebody who is overly mean/bitchy to someones face, like making other people feel bad.
but little remarks and comments to the group? its kind of annoying, but its something I can deal with.

We are a group all in all, we all have not so great habits, quirks and annoying pet peeves. and as long as nobody is openly hurting somebody elses feelings than I just let it go..

Personally someone who just says nasty things about strangers is not someone I'd want to be around and I would tell them so too. It's extremely mean spirited and rude.

Also, just because you 'think' the person doesn't hear it doesn't mean anything. They might have heard it as in this case.

We do tell her something, like I said in my first post.

and no, they never do hear. Believe me, we make sure of that. its never in a situation where there is the remote CHANCE of that person hearing..she will even go as far as to type it on her cell phone. She isn't a cruel person, she would never say it to hurt somebodys feelings, she just has her issues with it.

and we do talk to her about it, and she has gotten A LOT better. we are a group, we all hang out with eachother and we are pretty tight nit, its not like I cant hang out with the rest and not her, she is part of the package at this point

She has some issues, we have been working on it with her, but they are deep rooted. overweight people honestly gross her out.. the cause of this? i have no idea and of course I think its wrong. but I would guess it was to do with her own weight issues as well as her parents.

Her parents are the kind of people who raised her to believe that all fat people are disgusting lazy slobs who don't do anything all day and dont deserve to be out in public. and when she gained some weight around middle school, they freaked her out about it and now well..she is the way she is..

its not a trait I like about her obviously, but its something shes gotten a lot better at just keeping her mouth shut.
She finally has accepted that not all people who are overweight are so because they sit around all day and eat

If she was the kind of person that did/said those things and showed ZERO signs of changing/improvement. believe me, its not something I would be able to be around for very long..

it seems to me that making fun of overweight people is one of the last "acceptable" discriminations. Everyone seems to think that if someone is overweight--that it is obviously a lack of control and or commitment on that persons part. Science says differently, as they are continually finding--but who really looks deep enough into it to care about that? It's more fun to ridicule people.

I like to think that those who are so rude and lack insight will return to this life in the body that they are making fun of. Perhaps they will learn a lesson or two that way.

Foxy--you know who you are. You know what you are doing for yourself, and you owe no one any explanations. So if/when that happens again--smile to yourself and love yourself, knowing you are a far better person than those who make fun of anyone--no matter their size, color, shape, etc.

i do agree that there are plenty of stunning slim griels who are just sweethearts, my frined laura is one of them, drop dead gorgeous and a heart of gold.

as for the comments...
my personal opinion is if you have something to say...say it to my face...
it hurts MUCH more to be whispered pointed and giggled at then TO...
if someone came up to my face and said god your fat, it would still suck but it wouldnt be as uncomfotable as sitting there being whispered about and pointed at...
i dont know why...it just hurts me more.

if i have something to say i usually say it to someones face, if i dont like you im civil but ill tell you flat out, i dont like you...

i also agee that fo some reason discrimination against over weight people is considered acceptable, yet skin color, gender or sexual prefernce its NOT...why should weight be any different?
its flat out not acceptable.

its ok to have an issue with something, but i personally think if you have an issue with overweight people, you should sit down and talk to a few, find out the real reasons, some eat too much, some have thyroid issues, some, like myself just cant get it to budge despit 3 miles a day plus more...
if one fo those girls had come up to my face and asked me why i was so fat i would have gladly explained...
had one fo them come up to my face just to make fun of me, at least theyd had some balls...but to whisper about someone?...

the good news is, i know not eveyrone is like that and am lucky in that considering it all im very healthy, and i am beautiful inside...ill loose the weight eventually, and they will always be stuck in their little self esteem rut, because lets face it, if your slim pretty rich and still have self esteem issues...theres no helping ya lol
