Thanks! This is my forever breed. Love them! They're a handful but so much fun!
Couple more. I wish the second pic had come out better. I need to take a photography class.

Nice pictures!!

Question. I heard that Giants were typically very dog aggressive. How about your pair? Also, how much energy do they usually have, and what do you do to tire them out?

My pair? They get along great ! Holly ( Boxer / AM bulldog ) is so mature , and she is only 1 yr. old .
The german shepherd i have is named bandit , and she bites a bit , but she is still young . I play with them about 12-14 times daily , with one long walk . I dedicate at least 45 min. toward there walks.

It seems to tire them out , but if they aren't we all go out side and play "BALL!"

Oh, I'm sorry, I was talking to GSchnauzer. Sorry for not being specific!

Usually it's the females that are more dog aggressive. Gunnar is my first male Giant Schnauzer. So I can't really speak for the males. He's still very much a puppy and wants to play with everyone. But hearing from other GS owners and from my own experience females are worse. My first 2 Giants were not fond of other females. One couldn't stand puppies. However my current female is generally good with other dogs. Of course there's an occasional dog here and there she doesn't get along with. As you can see from one of my pics Giant Schnauzers CAN get along with cats.
As for energy...they've got lots!! We play Flyball. Both of them love it. Gunnar won't compete till June though. I've done a little Schutzhund with Eika but the travel time is just too much. I really wish there were clubs closer. She's got the nerve and the drive.:) I do want to try Agility as there are plenty of clubs for that! Other than that frisbees and the chuck-it are our friends. lol

How long does it take for the fur to grow, and do you usually keep the fur cut? Sorry for the questions, I'm just so curious.

There's an AAC agility judge here with giants and minis who has amazing dogs. She's got the top giant in the AAC. I love watching her boy run.. though he has a tendency to break weaves he is so big, strong and fast.. They part like a sea for him ;) She's started carrying extra poles as trial organizers were sick of replacing poles her dogs had broken. Not to scare you off, lol. He is amazing to watch run though. I adore giants.

No problem. I clip about every 4-6 weeks because I like to keep them neat. :) Eika has the sparse, wiry coat which is much easier to deal with. Gunnar has the fuller, softer coat.

MafiaPrinces...I can totally see that Giant being a freight train through the course. lol
My female is on the small side 25" and 54lbs. I think she'd do well in Agility. She's very agile, sure-footed, and fast! Her littermate does agility in TX.

Thanks everyone!

I think everyone in ontario knows that Giant MP! I love watching him run too.. though I wince when he goes through the weaves as you can hear him hit each pole with his shoulders.

GS>are you planing on doing agility with your girl?
