Just wondering guys, what if dogs were not created?

Could you imagine a world without dogs?

For me it's going to be a dull, boring, and just meaningless life then. No barks, no messy poops, no training, nothing.. AND no chazhound forum. lol

So what do you guys think your life would turn out to be?

Instead of dogs, go training some wolves? lol.

If there were no dogs to begin with we would not know what one was so how could we miss something we don't have to begin with. Now on the other hand if dogs ceased to exist that would be a hole different matter.

Meh, there'd still be a Chaz........it would probably just be Chazkitty, or Chazbunny! :rofl1:

And yes, I'd have a lot less work to do, but a lot less love in my life as well.

exactly.

If I never had a dog, I wouldn't miss it lol thats like me sitting around like
"LIFE IS MEANINGLESS WITHOUT PET UNICORNS!!"
.. we don't lol because we don't know what its like to have pet unicorns.

at best I would probably see a wolf and just like when I see a tiger or something say "aww I want one!" but I'm never SERIOUS about that.

Now, if ROMEO disappeared I would be sad.

but if I could never have dogs in general?
eh. life goes on.

I do ENJOY having a dog. I love going for walks, I love a cuddle buddy and I do LOVE DOGS.
but they aren't my life. and if owning them wasn't an option.. I certainly wouldn't think life was dull or meaningless, but I would miss it.

If I could find a cat that enjoyed walking on a leash..I'd be happy as a clam lol

I think if there were no dogs, we would feel like we were missing something and would probably try and modify some other kind of animal to entertain and bond with us the way we have with dogs. I think humans, innately, possess something inside of us that makes us attracted to animals and drives us to form attachments to other species.

OH NO, NO PUPPY LICKS? :(

A whole lot of people would be... lets just say 'in a whole lot of trouble'. ;)
Including me.
Considering that I need my pup for some daily doses of love, and relief from depression; I ugh would have probably already have killed myself. :O
My dogs were always 'there' for me in the rough times, when no body else seemed to understand. At one point, they were the only reason why I'd wake up in the morning.
Also, I almost forgot to mention... I met my DH through dogs! ;)

Then again, you don't know what you're missing out on until you lose it, right?

I would have missed my best play mates growing up. I would be dead without Charlie 3 times over as a teen and young adult. I would not have had Mary to help raise the children. My world would miss the very heart and soul of what makes this life tolerable. No matter how bad of a day, no matter how much pain, I was never alone, loved for exactly who i am. I mean what can replace that? I dont' know how other people live without a dog. I cant' begin to fathom it.

Fran, I had a big blue cat (Gonzo) who walked on a leash :D

If there were no dogs? We'd be screwed. Cats would rule the world.

. . . . . . wait . . . . . they couldn't possibly do a worse job than we are

Yeah, probably.

Instead of assistance dogs, I'd probably be training assistance ponies. Or monkies.

If dogs had never existed, we wouldn't know what we were missing. Maybe I would be walking a pet buffalo right now!

If dogs suddenly disappeared, we would be incredibly lonely. I'm currrently dogless and already I feel deprived.

If there just never was any dogs... you would not miss anything. Life would be, well, exactly the same as it is now, just without the dogs. You cannot miss something that you never existed.

Plus, we would have a different pet then a dog. It would be all about cats, or ferrets, or hamsters. And nobody would notice the difference.
