hes doing good I posted some pics of him yesterday! Hes down to a good weight and him and walker are playing. He goes in 2 weeks or so for a check up. He WAS going to go this week but we got hit with extra vet expenses :|. He will then get neutered the next week.

You should start seeing some relief before too much longer, lol. I don't generally really count the beginning of the swelling though, even though there is the whining factor Cleo's is probably a little wonky this time, too, and her neediness exacerbated by all the changes in her life.

Oh Great!! Does that mean I still have 2 1/2 weeks to go? So basically the entire month of May is In month. The swelling started on the 30th, and the whining started a day or two after that. Of course, with Murphy's law still chewing on my arse, this will be the longest heat cycle in history.

Shhhh the monsters are sleeping. The house is quiet right now, it is wonderful.

THEORETICALLY, it's one week coming in (bleeding) one week in, then one week out. THEORETICALLY. With Kharma, Shiva and Buffy I found it's usually more of an "around two and a half weeks" total. I can gauge the cycle by Bimmer's reactions. When he starts calming down I know the end is in sight.
