Just got back from the dermatologist. Got a biopsy of something suspicious on my back...could be melanoma or some kind of skin cancer, but maybe not. It takes a week to 10 days to get the pathology report back.
Shouldn't have spent so much time in the sun all these years without protection. (a warning to sun bathers or even people who are in the sun and not even trying to get a tan) I was a life guard/swim instructor and spent all day every day in the sun, right close to the water. I road my horse in the sun. I skied in the spring sun, snow reflecting all that sun....just in the sun wayyyyyy too much. They didn't even know about sun block or skin cancer or at least it wasn't as prevalent or talked about much back then.
Anyhow, hoping for some good vibes and wishes that it's not cancer.
