Any day now.

I am fighting the curse of the morning white tissue.

She is technically due about the 25th, but has been shedding like mad lately, so I expect her a bit early possibly.

Pardon my ignorance, but isn't there a higher risk of having puppies with elbow dysplasia if you breed an affected bitch to an affected dog, rather than to a dog without the condition? Just wondering, not trying to nitpick or anything.

Good luck!! Looking forward to seeing the puppies as they mature.

Studies have proven that inheritance of hip and elbow dyplasia can be traced back to right of left inheritance.

I will breed a looser Penn hip Left to to a looser Penn Hip Right dog.

But I wont MATCH up loose L or R.

Either way great job on ALL testing ALL showing and ALl working .

The #1 reason dogs are PTS are BAD temperaments.
Personally in guardian breeds Temperaments should come first, coupled with good health and healthy comformation.
THe show wins are a added plus to confirm dedication to the breed and line.

KUDOS :)

You two can rest assured that I have looked at the entire picture, have done extensive research, and have sought the opinions and advice of others in my breed.

This subject has been hashed out on this board more than once.

Puppies are placed with happy prospective owners.

As with any breeding, 2 years down the road I will know if it was the right decision or not.

I personally don't have a problem with breeding grade 1 elbows in Rottweilers as long as the dogs in question aren't exhibiting problems.

I agree with Red, this topic has been hashed out here before. Breeding dogs responsibly isn't an easy job...decisions aren't always as easy as they seem.

I for one can't wait for puppy pics!:)
