Studies have proven that inheritance of hip and elbow dyplasia can be traced back to right of left inheritance.

I will breed a looser Penn hip Left to to a looser Penn Hip Right dog.

But I wont MATCH up loose L or R.

Either way great job on ALL testing ALL showing and ALl working .

The #1 reason dogs are PTS are BAD temperaments.
Personally in guardian breeds Temperaments should come first, coupled with good health and healthy comformation.
THe show wins are a added plus to confirm dedication to the breed and line.

KUDOS :)
I never knew that, thanks for the info :)

Have a link to any of these studies?

I will be keeping 2 most likely, and run them on for at least 6 months until bites come in.

I will post the links on a separate thread do NOT want to hijack or give fuel to anyone. They are on my old computer.

Penn hip has allot of info because they are the ones that came up with Rating each hip vs OFA rating both equally.

http://www.pennhip.org/MenuFrame.html

Allot of the reports ive collected I had to pay a service online for the rights to buy the study > But I do not think I have the right to publish them ...
They cost about $9-30 each.

But the above link is a good start...

Congrats! I can't wait to see pictures of the pups and see your track of Penny's pregnancy and the puppies' development. Ok, that was a run-on sentence. ;)

TY, Grammy, I am ECSTATIC about these plans.

I have been SO fortunate to have gotten some REALLY excellent show and working homes for these puppies.

You can all look forward to an avalanche of photos once the process gets started.

Now will SOMEONE go out and light some incense and make an offering to the "come in season" doggy goddess?

;) :D

She is fine. She has not been bred yet, I'm still awaiting mother nature to do her magic.

Sighhhhh.

Not to ruin your happy announcement or anything but........I thought the whole issue with the elbows was that you were going to breed Penny to a dog with excellent elbows. At least thats what you said.

I love it how everyone thinks Penny's breeding is thier own business.

This is exactly why when I breed my bitch I wont be posting ANYTHING about the breeding, because everyone thinks they know better.
