Oh! That is such a relief that she is on the mend. It won't be long now until she comes home to her nest.
I know a few people who have had little heart murmers all their life and they've never had a lick of trouble. My nephew had all of the heart defects at birth that I think one can have. There are a classic number of things that can go wrong (correct me if I'm wrong Drmom) and some babies are born with one or two, some more. He had all of them. And they were to a great extent. He had a new aorta (his leg vein) put in several times, as he grew. He had a huge hole in there, bigger than the Drs at Boston children's hospital had ever seen. There were other defects that I don't recall. Plus, later he was discovered to have only one kidney. It was touch and go. He's now a robust, healthy 23 year old and doing just fine. So, a little heart murmer, little irregularity isn't necessarily anything much to worry over. At least I think I've got that right.
The great thing is that she's getting over the pneumonia. That was scary, wasn't it. You guys have been through a lot. And it is so good to see that you're nearing the end of the tunnel. My thoughts are with you.
