Has anyone seen it yet?

I am not an uber Twilight fan, but i erally did enjoy the books.

I saw the movie last night and was suprised that is actually was well done. The previous two movies sucked really bad. But this one was really good. The acting was alot better and so was everything else. I was really entertained and did not leave dissapointed.

I havent seen it yet. Maybe possibly tonight. I really didn't enjoy when I went to see the first one, and the theater was full of teenie bopper "twi hards". It was so annoying and the reason I didn't see "New Moon" in theaters either.

Im not a die hard fan. But I enjoy the books enough to be interested in the movies.

It's my favorite so far. I'm an NOT one of those annoying SQUUUEEEE EDWARD TWILIGHT *dies* fan, but I am a twilight fan :) I like the books... Not ashamed to admit it. Was disappinted by the first two movies, but they're okay. I liked the graphics in New Moon... I think Eclipse was even better! Stuck pretty close to the book, especially compared to the first one. Like you said, acting seemed better. I Really liked the sound effects and music! Sound effects for the fighting scenes seemed just like they were described in the book.

It was WAY less annoying at the theatre, for me. No annoying screaming teenie boppers. There were girls crying at the end, though : rofl1: I didnt think it was sad, but that's just me haha.

I really liked it. The first movie was good, the second movie was okay, but this movie was great! My coworker and I got lucky - we saw it opening day and we didn't have a single crying preteen in the entire theater. :D (Although there were a few people who sighed/gasped when Jacob walked on screen. ROFL)

I thought it was a very good movie and very well put together. Can't say I cared for Jasper's 'doo, and I definitally liked Alice's hair in the first movie better. Also, did Jasper have a southern accent in the first movie? It amused me that is just sort of "appeared" in Eclipse because it actually told his background story. LOL

Eclipse is my favorite of the books and I was very pleased with the movie. I thought it was definitely the best so far. It will be interesting to see how Breaking Dawn turns out. It's not one of my favorite books in the series lol.

I don't think he spoke enough in the first or second movie to tell about his accent much lol. But yes, it definitely seemed more prominent in this one.

ok, I just got back from seeing it.

As far as the acting goes.... I think compared to kristen stewart, rob was like robert redford. lol.... but def no need to worry about them getting any oscars.

It was a lot better than the 2nd one.... but really really slooooooooooow... and not enough fighting. :(

Are they making the 4th book?

and yeah... I dont' know if Jasper had a southern accent in the first ones or not. He didn't really talk that much.

I went to the premier :) I thought it was great!

The director did a great job IMO, I LOVED the movie and im the kind of person that after every twilight movie I pick apart the things they did wrong

the violent war scenes were like WOAH and the romance scenes were so cute.. I think it was perfect..with a lil bit of humor tossed in, and still following the book. I think it was VERY well done. I liked the director

even my friend (who basically hates the movies) who I DRAGGED with me, agreed it was a good movie

and yes, breaking dawn is being split into 2 movies. which is good because there is A LOT of material

oh and Dakota Fanning is SUCH a badass in this movie lol as she usually is!

they finally went deeper into the stories of Rosalie and Jasper, which is great because they are such interesting characters. it was great they used a director who explored the OTHER characters instead of just edward and bella.

well before I continue to ramble lol yes, I think it was a great movie and definetly worth seeing :)

Oh and jaspers accent only appeared when they were doing flashbacks to when he was human.. which makes sense really. different life, different accent kinda thing lol other than that he just used it a couple of times when kidding around with Alice

The Director is SO nice and so passionate about the material. he was sitting around gushing about the books like the rest of the 18 year old girls and twi-hards, it was just so fun to see lol He was really interested in what we thought deeper about the characters in the book, like what drew us to edward, jacob, jasper etc.. why we think they do the things they do etc..

I can't decide if I'll see this one. I saw the first in theaters about a month after it came out and had a good time. I just recently saw New Moon on the cruise ship (they loop movies repeatedly). I watched it all and thought it was just awful. So that kind of put me off wanting to see this one.

I haven't seen any of the other ones... haven't read the books and most likely won't see this one....

so why am I in this thread?

Because I REFUSE to accept that Dakotah fanning has GROWN UP. OMG lol. I want that little girl that was in Man on fire back. she was such a cute little girl. She's not allowed to grow up. Just like the little boy from 6th sense lol

sorry.. pointless I know

Yeah, we just watched New Moon from Netflix the other night and I thought it was TERRIBLE. I read the books because a friend convinced me to and I think they aren't even good, not well written, the 4th is ridiculous, etc., but I still got into reading them for some reason. But the movies were just not good. I'll watch this one on DVD at some point later
