Does your dog look different in person?

Today when I was at the park with Amber and Cricket, Amber mentioned that Eve looks different in person than she does in pictures. I think it's because of how large and expressive her ears and eyes are, and in pictures they always look kind of rigid (not to mention she's always being bribed with a ball in pics, so she usually looks flat out insane)

I took a video of Eve that I'm uploading. Post vids if you dog looks different in person!

IMO Walker looks smaller in person than he does in pics, and Sci looks the same lol

LOL yeah everyone thinks Walkers like 70ish pounds but hes 55-60 which is even a shock to me LOL.

Ozzy is a LOT smaller in person. Lizmo couldn't get over how tiny he really is. He's only thirty pounds And he probably looks 50 or so. Enzo is a lot smaller as well. She's about 50.

Well, I can only answer for Jes (MyHorseMyRules)

Raja and Tempie were smaller than I thought, especially Tempie.

I thought Raja looked a lot different in person but I can't quite put my finger on why. I think he muzzle looks shorter in pictures than it is in real life. And the camera does not due her fur justice.

Tempie is also really really skinny/fit and being a lab I don't think that translates perfectly in pictures and her ears are bigger in person

Yes! Millie and Lucy both are smaller than they appear in photos. Millie's only 18-19" tall and 30 lbs. Lucy's about 8" tall. Millie is prettier and more feminine in person.

Dunno. I will say Jude looks pretty much the same. Erin seemed a bit amazed at how small Mia and Summer are in person and I know Mia wasn't what she was expecting. Mia was an unfriendly, un-energetic brat all weekend. LOL

I think Mia's face is a lot more expressive in person and that she looks harsher in pictures. In real life she's a sweetheart with some very soft eyes at certain moments. Her eyes are so dark she always looks sneaky in pictures.

Oh and Summer is just as gorgeous and sweet in person as in pics. She's a little less.... calm and collected though in real life. In pics she looks stoic and serious. In real life she's a touch crazy and OCD but still very sweet.

And Rose is sooo much cuter and less serious in real life. She is SUCH a sweet dog. In pics she's kind of scared of the camera so often looks really boring and serious imo. She's got the biggest, most sad eyes that just melt you. Rose is a dog that melts the hearts of everyone she meets.

Yes, Teagan is really really expressive. You can tell exactly what she is thinking and feeling just by looking at her. She is pretty little as well. She is about 13-14 pounds depending on the day.

People are usually surprised at how small Lucy is. Her head is only maybe knee-high on me, and she's only 25 lbs.

She's also really, ridiculously goofy. I don't think it comes across in pictures (how could it?), but she makes me laugh constantly with how expressive she is, or how she'll manipulate objects in her paws, or the noises she makes.

Junior is alot shyer and more submissive than he looks in pictures. I think he might be smaller than he looks; I can hold him with one arm. (obviously not his whole body in my arm, but I can support him.)

I think Auggie does and he's my dog, LOL. There's just something in his face that isn't captured in a lot of pictures. There are SOME pictures that capture it, but most of them don't.

Also everybody that meets him goes "oh my God, you're so TINY!" They don't realize how small he is because there's really no point of reference in a lot of pictures, so they are always surprised. Even people who have been told how big he is and how much he weighs, they just don't really translate that into visuals accurately and think he should be bigger.

It's hard to say. Psyche's a lot softer than pictures tend to catch her at. She's almost always "oh, okay." soft and timid unless she's working, then she's all "OH HELLS YES!" I find she looks bigger in pictures too. She's 22 inches tall, or there abouts, but she's really slight. And only weighs about 45lbs.

Zoey, it depends on the day.

I try to get a variation of different looks/expressions/poses to give you all the best proof of what they're really like... and I have videos all over youtube too.
