Chaz Moms and Moms-to-Be Chat (everyone welcome)

I did something similar to myself, which is why I started charting. Charting is one of the reasons this baby happened so quickly, I'm sure, since the first cycle I missed ovulation by like a week. LOL

I'm currently spazzing about miscarriage risks. :P

I've decided to stop bc after this pack so like in a week I'm done and start charting and temp taking. Just so I have a better idea when I'm ovulating. And so I get a hang of charting and know when my body's doing it's thing. Hopefully it bounces back fast offer being on BC for a year.

I think if it's not one thing it's another.

You are most fertile right after coming off the bc!

I want to know what the dr thinks when you say you want the placenta to work with dogs lol! And they probably get stranger!!

Well I'm hopefully birthing at a birth center and they offer placenta encapsulation services, which I have also considered, so using it for dog training prob won't raise as many eyebrows there. ;)

Today is my last day of maternity leave. I don't even know what to say or think. I just keep snuggling Finley :(

(((((((((hugs)))))))))) The first bit is hard, really hard, but it does get easier I swear.

I Know!! I'm just worried about missing my ovulation or not ovulating at all right after BC, because that is also a factor. there is unfortunately not a lot of info on getting pregnant right after bc on purpose and more info on letting your body adjust. I don't know what to do :(

Being prepared is important to me and getting back In sync with my body and I can't chart while being on bc. I keep going back and forth on what I want to do. Grr!!!

I got pregnant after being ON birth control for 6 weeks, my first cycle on it, after using no protection for like 3 years. Charting is a good place to start!

I definitely gave myself a break before TTC and after I came of BC. I had Mirena, which is different than the pill for sure, but I still think it makes sense to let your body get itself sorted before adding in a blastocyst/embryo/fetus. :)

I was on Depo for...13 years I think (I couldn't remember how old I was *sigh*). I went off it last year as a test, took two months for my cycles to get regular. Went back on it for a year, we decided to start TTC after our second wedding in July, which coincided with my being off the Depo. I got pregnant in September and everything has progressed normally thus far. My Dr said he had no worries about how soon we got pregnant when I went in for my initial checkup.

I went off birth control at the end of November. We kind of were hoping I'd get pregnant, but that entire month of December my body just staged a hormonal revolt due to stopping the birth control. It wasn't until my second cycle in January that I finally went back to "normal". I definitely think stopping fir a month or three before hand isn't a bad idea.

On that note - August is 4 months away. O_o That is both insanely exciting and kind of scary all at the same time. I cannot wait! Halfway through this deployment and almost to the start of our next chapter! Whoot!

Thank you. I called work today to finalize me coming back and all I could think of was how I should yell "I quit! I quit!" into the phone.

Jules, I'm sorry :( it sucks so much. The first month was really hard on us, and then it got easier (it still really sucks though). I want to be a SAHM. I didn't think I would until I had her. Luckily I think the transition will be tougher on you than on Finley. Lillian was a toddler when I went back and she pretty much cried nonstop for 30 days - thankfully I haven't seen a single newborn/infant react like that.

I'm heading to the ER tonight. I'm so dehydrated I can't get up. I've only kept very small amounts of fluids down in like 36 hours, and the midwife switched me from zofran to diclegis but I think it's too late.

I've decided to stop taking bc and start tracking. I have three more pills to go and I'm going to start as soon as my period comes and go from there.

I've read taking charge of your fertility, which is super Awesome and it's made super excited to start tracking. For me I would rather go into ttc with knowledge of my body instead if just going in blind and hoping for the best.

I tracked for years both to TTC and as BC and it's super nifty not just for conception purposes but tracking stuff like headaches, mood swings, skin care, energy levels, etc.

Jules, how was going back to work??

I had my nuchal translucency sono today, baby looked good :) hoping for a Halloween baby!

I hope the first days back at work are going well Jules! (((hugs)))

MM, glad that all looked well on the scans!

AFM, things are still pretty good - one week before my first prenatal!! I might be imagining it, or it could be bloating, but I think there might be some abdominal changes already. Which of course made me briefly worry about twins. LMAO. Fingers crossed it's just bloating, but I'm glad I took my 'baseline' belly shot last week at 6w. ;)

I wondered the same thing, it was just bloating for me LOL

My glucose screen came back inconclusive so I have to go back for a 3 hour glucose test :( That's going to take 4 hours out of my work week this week and I have regular check up next week that will take a couple of hours out. I wish I had a way to not care about the lost time!

Exciting, Hayley!!

Hope you are feeling better MM and that work is going well Jules.

Yeah, probably just bloating lol It's normal to worry/wonder about twins though - I did too since they run in one side of my family!

So here is a recent photo - finally! Clarissa is two years and two months old (took this yesterday in the WARM weather!)

Haha I was worried about twins this time too until I found out it's normal to show WAY (like 4+ months) earlier with your second.
