Free Diet Plans at SparkPeople

Its REALLY easy. You create an account, put in what you weigh now, what you WANT to weigh and when you want to get there. You also have options for "low carb", "blood pressure issues" etc... It then creates a daily goal based on what you input. You get a calorie limit, fat limit, carb limit, etc...

Once you get started, you just keep track of what you eat. When you get to your limit, you know it. (Web app, iPhone app, etc....) I really think that is why its working for us... It is REALLY on you to play by the rules. Nobody is "telling" you what to do. No points, or anything like that. Wanna have a #2 at McDonalds? Giver. Just know that it will probably be ALL your intake for the day.

As with all healthy living thingys, it takes a little discipline. It REALLY helps if you have someone you care about to be accountable to. I holler at her, she hollers at me. :) It works.

IIRC, Jules, you are already rather thin. So Sparkpeople could help you eat healthier. There are options for people who don't really need to lose a ton of weight.

Personally, stopping the booze (I admittedly fell off that wagon this week while on vacation) and potatoes made all the difference. I really, really think that cutting booze, almost entirely, out of my life changed me in more ways that just losing weight.

Good luck to you Jules and anyone else who wants to give it a go.

You both look wonderful! Especially you, Tanya. :) ((((((((HUGS)))))))) I am SO happy for you!
Be on the lookout for a "baby" thread sometime. LOL

My wife is HOTTTTTTTT. LOL

:rofl1:

ETA - Thank you all for noticing. It makes me feel good. It makes Tanya feel AMAZING. AND it gets us free stuff at places. ;) Tanya got a free ticket at the arcade today. The worker dude watched her play "Dance Dance Revolution" and gave her a extra ticket when she was helping Hannah 'check out'. WOOT! LOL

I think the greatest testament to how good i feel and the weight loss was at walmart one day when iwas getting hannahs bike

Usually at walmart finding someone to help me is near impossible. Finding someone who WANTS to helP even more impossible but that day i had three people at once helping me and then they offered to put the bike together for me lol and then someone offered to help me get my cart and the bike to my car. He was like 80 years old lol but that just made me appreciate the gesture even more lol

I'm so proud of you two! You look AMAZING! Here, have a virtual cookie to celebrate--no calories, carbs, or fat! (Of course, no taste either, but eh, you can't have everything.)

Funny WalMart story, btw. I can just picture it :rofl1::rofl1::rofl1:

Congrats!!! I second what everyone is saying, you guys look awesome!

On a side note, your start weight and mine are only a few pounds different.... It had taken me a while, with a few plateaus.... But I started at 246, and just hit 179.... I find every 5 pounds makes a difference now!!!

isn't it fun to shop for clothes!? Something I hated, has now become fun to do!
