I was admiring my organized mess today as I was trying to find the nail clippers (they were not at the top like they are in the photo lol).

Treats, toys, collars, health stuff, sweaters, booties, mats.... etc etc etc. That's not even all of it. We have another canvas cube on a bookshelf elsewhere that has more collars, brushes, bandanas, shampoos, first aid stuff.

I keep thinking there has to be a better way to do it, because I hate digging through all this crap and then it's like playing a game of Tetris trying to get it all to fit back together. Of course, the stuff I use most frequently is at the top. But still. Maybe there is no good way to organize it. Maybe I just have too much stuff. :lol-sign:

I have a closet in the hall way that I keep all of the grooming stuff, dog blankets, but the dogs have a toy box in the living room that holds all their toys and I also throw their extra collars, leashes, halters ect ect, luckly they don't see those as chew toys.

I sorted everything out a few months ago.
Bath and grooming gear is in a plastic tub in the bathroom next to the stack of specified "dog towels"
Medicines and flea/tick prevention is in its own section of our medicine cupboard.
Collars, jackets etc are in a crate in an unused cupboard.
Frequently used things are kept on top of the individual dogs crates.
All toys are in a HUGE clip closed box ont he back verandah.
Treats are in the pet section of the pantry.

Well thats the plan - it needs "resorting" atm. We have nail clippers on the back table, the top of the fridge is cluttered with tennis balls and pigs ears and as I sit on the couch typing this I can see 2 dog jackets and leash sharing the couch with me.

All over the place. D:

Right now, her tracking stuff is in a a tote bag, most of the grooming stuff is in a shoe box above the pantry, and her toys are spread all over everything. I've got clickers squirreled away in every nook of the house, and her crate is in the garage.

Most of it? I keep in my closet in my bedroom (I live at my moms house, and I have my own back area - with a living space, bathroom and bedroom). I have something like this in my closet:

And then I also have this hanging on the inside of my closet door (I got it for super cheap - on sale for like $5 or something):

Then his food stays in it's bag sitting on top of the bar/island thingy in my back room, above where his food dish is, lol.

Oh and his personalized toy box of course... lol

Zander has his own room in the house where I keep all the dog stuff. At least, that is where it SHOULD all be going. As it is, his toys are on our bedroom floor, his grooming stuff is in our upstairs hallway closet, and there's just crap everywhere. Eventually he will eat and stay in there while we are gone, too. For now, he still stays in our room and eats downstairs in the kitchen.

I'm working on it, though. Slowly. All dog stuff to one room and closet. Eventually.

I keep all of the collars & leashes hanging on my deer head from Urban Outfitters.

I put all of their brushes, shampoos, clippers, coats, and misc dog supplies in this handy shoe organizer that hangs on my bedroom door!

Their food is in the freezer & vittles vault. Treats are in 2 different treat jars in the kitchen (cookie jar and dental chew jar). Vitamins are next to their treat jars.

Preventatives and medications are in my medicine cabinet, in the dog row.

Dog toys are in their toybox. I have another toybox in my room where I put all of my extra dog supplies!

Too much dog stuff!!! They have 2 beds in every room...

A lot of my stuff is in a plastic storage drawer kinda like the one JacksonsMom posted above.

It is crammed full & I need to get another one... I have Nora's coats in the bottom drawer. 2nd & 1st. drawers are shampoos, first aid, medications (most from when my cats were sick), syringes for dosing meds, Trifexis, Nemex, ear wash, pill cutter/crusher, iv line/fluids (for my kidney failure cat), vet wrap, ointments, nutrical, hyvite vitamins.(cat again), alllllll kinds of crap. lol. I even have a little baggy with Lacey's baby teeth in it. It probably sounds organized but really stuff is just crammed in there & you have to fight to shut the drawer back.

Collars/leashes that I don't use every day are crammed into a small bucket that has a lid. The shampoo that I actually use (buddy wash <3) is in the bathroom medicine cabinet.

Everything else is everywhere else lol!

It depends on what it is. Shampoos, a Zoom Groom and grooming nooses, etc are kept in the bathroom in one of those traveling toiletry things that hang up. Another Zoom Groom, bristle brush, nail clippers and comb are in a small stainless steele pail. Bot things are handy to "grab & go". That pail is hanging on a shelf on a peg board that has bottles of waterless shampoo and other sprays. Caleb's first aid kit, extra collars, snaps, Bite Not collar, etc are also hanging on that peg board. Towels are in a big zip lock duffel bag kind of thing on a shelf in the garage. Inside toys are in mesh hampers, outside ones are in a plastic basket on the porch. Leashes- a couple are hanging on a leash rack by the back door, along with the bell Caleb wears when he's loose in the yard, and poop bags. There are two training bags in the dining room closet- one for obedience/rally, the other for nosework. There's also a bag on the porch for when we go hiking (bug spray, comb, brush, waterless shampoo, bear bell, poop bags, etc). The Dremel is in the dining room on the "charging table" (where we plug in all our rechargable stuff).

I've got one of these in the laundry room next to the dog food:

Top drawer has canned food, sardines, scissors, bag clip, etc. It's also where I keep an envelope to put the UPCs from the dry food.

The other two drawers have Halloween costumes in them.

Dog food is in a plastic storage container on wheels (food stays in the bags).

Dog treats are in canisters on the microwave cart. Chews and unopened bags of treats are in a small container like the one the dog food is in (it's where I kept the cat food when the cat was alive).

I wish I could have ONE place to organize their stuff! I've got leashes on both sides of the back door and in my bedroom. I've got collars in the mudroom and my bedroom. I've got muzzles in the mudroom, a drawer in the living room, and in a back room. I've got grooming tools in my bedroom and the drawer in the living room. I've got meds in the bathroom, with their food stuff, and in a box in a backroom. I've got their food stuff in the mudroom, two bins for kibble, a basket for treats, in a mini-fridge I keep their wet mix/Raw (we use it mostly for egg overstock, which I give them some). I have toys EVERYWHERE! I have a basket in a back room with toy overstock/put-away, I've got bones/antlers loose on the living room floor, I've got food stuffing/freezing toys in the mudroom and in a back room, I've got some of "Enda's only" toys around her bed in my room, Enda's balls inhabit every room in the house at any given time and outdoors. And I have 3 kennels, when the one isn't in the van it's stored in the garage, Enda's kennel and Noods are in the back room. OH! And dog towels are in the mudroom, I've got blankets in my room and on top of Enda's kennel, with dirty ones needing washing in the basements near the washer.

Yep, someday I'll make things more organized...someday!

Oops- need to add- supplements, Interceptor, Immodium, Benadryll, pill crusher, etc are in a kitchen cabinet.

Grooming stuff all goes in my grooming box from PetEdge.
I have a first aid bag that is packed with everything I need when I travel, and it sits on top of a plastic box with the extra stuff in it.
I have a four drawer organizer by their crates that holds a lot of stuff... one entire drawer just for their food dispensing toys, a drawer for the bags of treats I haven't opened yet, a drawer with their funny t-shirts and sweaters and Payton's snowsuit in it, and a drawer with miscellaneous stuff.
Leashes are in a box on top of their crates. A few more things are on top of their crates, like the plastic frisbee I use as a target, my clicker, the treat jar. Oh, and the toy piano I intend to teach Payton to "play" is sitting up there too hahaha. It's kind of a mess on top of the crates right now, I need to clean it up.

I have one of the plastic bone shaped toy boxes in the office with their toys in it, a wooden box with all their sheep toys, another box for tennis balls, another box for plastic toys. And there's a box of toys plus another box of tennis balls in the living room. =P

The agility stuff is another problem. *sigh* I currently have two 2x2 weave bases sitting in the basement behind a chair as out of the way as possible. My tunnel (I don't like to leave it outside, I don't have enough to replace it should it get torn up/nasty) is tucked into a corner...

We're supposed to ORGANIZE their stuff???
:rofl1: If there were a 'like' button, I would totally click it for that! LOL

But seriously, dry food bin in utility closet, treat tin on fridge, basket for meds, sprays, shampoo, poo bags etc in laundry room, bone peg in hall for leash/collar, drawer in closet for extra collars/leads...........so ya, pretty much everywhere!

Food is in a bin in a cupboard in the kitchen. Tika's meds and some dog treats are on the shelf above that along with some food I keep meaning to donate to the shelter (bags of purina our vet gave us).

Ozzy's meds are on the mantlepiece.

Nail clippers are on the coffee table (If I'm trying to clip scamp's nails I leave them there until I can get him cuddled up to me and relaxed) or stored in a box underneath the TV.

Some treats for our walk today are sitting next to the tv.

Some leashes, a collar and Taz's training dummy is sitting under the tv as well. There is a leash in the kitchen in case we ever need a leash in the kitchen (comes handy for seperating diesel and Aura)

There are 2 (?) leashes in the garage for me to use when I'm bathing the dogs.

Bones are all over the place and there are some frozen ones in the freezer.

Oh and shampoo is sitting on the back windowsill at the minute because I'm planning on grooming Taz soon.

Everything else is scattered in my room. I Really do need to make an effort and get everything tidied up. It will happen soon because I have exams at the minute so i'm in procrastination mode.

When you do, we can have a band. :lol-sign: Caleb "plays" a toy electronic drum/cymbol (sp?) toy someone at work was giving away. And that reminds me, there's a fabric bin next to the couche with the drum/cymbol (sp?), a knock off "easy button", a couple of empty soda bottles, coffee can lid, balls, clicker, pointer and a few other things.

Oh, there's a shelf on the fridge door for his Salmon oil, hot dogs and water bottle. And a rubber made dish in the freezer with chicken feet, gizzards, home made treats, hot dogs, etc.

So much of Caleb's stuff is just part of every day living that I never realize how much I have, or how it's organized.
