This is Max's idea of fun. I go sit on the couch to snuggle, and he turns on me, wanting to play 'bite the hands.' I barely survived the attack; he's so vicious.

Poising for the attack.

"I see hand."

"I haz finger! Nom nom nom!"

"Thumb is tasty too."

My hand trying hard to escape the battle.

"You no haz hand, I haz hand!"

"I see other hand?"

I think your only option is to send him to me.

That way I can teach him the proper way to attack hands like a corgi should. He's a little too easy going with it.

Corgipower - You can have him if you want him. :D

This is actually a subdued version of his play biting. We've been working hard on his bite inhibition, because he was quite uncontrollable when he came to me at 11 weeks. So far he's managed to sever my earlobe from the side of my head, split the skin at the base of one of my nails in two, slice skin off the base of one of my fingers, and put a puncture hole straight through my nostril. That was all within the first two weeks of having him.

He's much better now, and only play bites when I give him the signal that it's ok. Though he does still like to nom on my ears if he gets the chance to.

Thanks for all the replies. Max's ego loves them :D

And yes, he's definitely growing up. We just went to the vet yesterday for his last shots, and he's gained 4 pounds. He's getting more of his adult coat in, and his colors are showing to be very distinct.
