Duke has destroyed mainly my shoes, of course its all the ones I wear and leaves the ones I dont care for. With the shoes it was 10 pairs of flips flops (2 were my roommates) and 5 pairs of heels. Then recently he ate my Greys Anatomy DVD. I cried. that hurt more than eating my shoes. lol. Other than that hes been good. He's just way to smart and opens the closet door. Ever since he ate my fave shoes he hasnt touched anymore.

Hmmm---the only thing Blue ever destroyed was underwear if he managed to get near the laundry. My parent's Lab--nothing--he's such a good boy!
Zippy has the shoe thing---I am careful to keep the closet door closed, but if I forget when I'm getting dressed in the morning he will sneak in their while I'm drying my hair and drag out a shoe--one shoe he chewed the toe off of with out ever taking it off the rack!

Boone and Jin decided that the small space between the "threshold" and the hardwood in the living room would be a great spot to pick at the linoleum flooring. I came home and they had ripped up about 9sq feet of it! I could have put it all back together, they didn't eat it --- just destroyed it.

2 days later, I redid the main floor bathroom but hadn’t put the new register into the floor yet ... same thing.

Now I have kitchen, hallway and mudroom flooring and I get to replace the washroom floor this weekend.

Flip flops. Several pairs. He loves fliip flops. He has eaten several pair of Old Navy ones.....

And when he was younger he ate the wood around our outside back door, all the way as far up as he could reach. He loves wood. He also tries to steal (to this day) the cardboard roll from the toilet paper once the paper is gone. You would think he was some kind of wood/paper monster.

One pair of flip-flops... and that's it. He's a trouble maker, but I do a good job of keeping an eye on him.

Granted, the flip-flops was entirely my mother's fault. He was trying to chew them one day and I took them away from him, and then commented that I "need a new pair of flip-flops."
So a few days later, when I was at work, he found them and was chewing them again. And mom decided, "Oh! But she said she needed new ones anyway, so that means Auggie can chew them, right?"

The first conversation we had after I got home:
"Oh, you gave Auggie those shoes, right?"
"...what shoes?"
"You know, those flip-flops?"
"...my PINK flip-flops?!"
"...oh... oops..."

I am so amused at how many of our dogs like to destroy our flip-flops! XD XD

I don't know if any of you remember Sunny - she was a little red bitch that I cared for last summer. (Cole's mom, she's another Bruda girl, 4 points so far, sired by that red natural eared import Ch. Gaindyke Yolo out of Ch. Bruda I'm A Fawn... Ronin's auntie).

Well, Sunny was Miss Destructo. She'd chew the blankets in her crate, so I had to use old t-shirts instead. She also liked to chew the pockets out of my jeans.

I miss her a lot, and I have pocketless jeans to remind me of her!

Look at that innocent face.... innocent my TUSH!

Ohhhkay, you can see the devilish glint in her eyes in this shot!

When Bimmer was a baby he did mangle my favorite pair of BigDogs pants, but nothing else.

Buffy, Shiva and Kharma were all obsessed with carrying my things around - shoes, socks, bras - but never gnawed on them.

Miss Kharma, however, seeming to realize that Charley's endless freaking channel surfing drove me insane, destroyed or expertly hid all the remotes but one :D That's my Grrrrrl!

Buddy was a pretty good puppy. The only thing he found that he liked to chew on was cables. He's over that stage, now.

Banzai... sheesh. Power cable to laptop. Books. My clothes. Socks. I'd name more but I'm getting depressed just thinking about it all...

Well, we've had to replace our carpet (thw WHOLE CARPET) becasue the dogs scratch under the door if they get locked in a room where no one else is, and we've replace (i believe) 3 or 4 spots in the carpet from the same thing. This is all in the 6 months we've had these dogs.....*yikes* They also rip toilet paper up ALL over the house, so we HAVE to keep the bathroom door shut. Also, they LOVE to get in peoples purses. We've actually had to call people to come back over to get their stuff that the dogs had hid around the house.... Their favorite thing ever is my moms make up brush, and they dig through the purse to get it. Also, they chew on the corners of charis, desks, beds, DOOR WAYS, WALLS, you should see our house. There's not one corner that you turn, or doorway you walk through that doesn't have most of the wood chewed off. *sigh* but who could stay mad at these faces for long?

lol! It's impossible.

p.s. That's not the carpet that was replaced...lol! I'd never pick that color. That was in my dad's office when we moved in. :D It's really not as bad a color in person though.

I have had dogs chew up kitchen cabinets, chair rungs, misc. furniture, etc...I used to get upset, but now I look at the chewed up sofa leg and the dog that did it has long passed and I kind of treasure it...so don't think of it as being destructive, they are just making memories!

Gunnar is the only young'n we have now, and he's never chewed anything. He has wrecked stuff outside- 4 out of 6 solar lights are broken from him zooming by them and clipping them, either by running them over or by running by with a basketball in his mouth and snapping them off right at the base. He put a few scratches on the wall near the back door from being excited to go out. He's killed countless toys of his own, but that doesn't really count- better the toys than a $100 motorcycle boot or a leather couch!

Purdue cut his teeth on the leg of the walnut dining room table. I have that table now, and treasure those teeth marks, even though I could sand them out and refinish the leg :)

OK, I'm going to try translating Saje's dog...

Bathroom door = "Don't shut me out 6 times a day. Pay attention to me AT ALL TIMES."
cell phones = "Stop talking to humans. Pay attention to me."
my birth control pills = "I want a little brother. Aww mum pleeeaase!!"
computer cable = "Stop working. Pay attention to me."
sofa armrest = "I was getting a crick in my neck. It's better this way - seriously...look..."
coffee table = "If anything is going to be in the middle of the floor it's going to be MOI."
many books ... The first one was on how to have a good puppy! The dog ate it. = (Self-explanatory.)
socks = "Otherwise I can't lick your feet, can I?"
underwear = (Um...pass.)
towels = "I've told you how I feel about baths. Maybe if I destroy the equipment..."

D.
Well she does like to rest her head in the whole she put in the arm rest lol. It's a self made pillow.
