My friend got a new puppy. Says its about 10wks. old...I think the puppy is a bit older than that though. What possible breeds can this dog be? Thanks!

It's so hard to tell with puppies! They all kind of look the same (I mean, outside of really obvious basic differences like coat color) for a few months. But perhaps english setter--those ears look like they may be fixin to stand up in a couple months though.

It's hard to tell if it's double merle or ticking.... could be anything really. I'll guess Aussie mix, though.

Not that this cutie couldn't be many differnt things, she (he?) looks identical to a pup that is now running agility. Boo is 3/4 JRT and 1/4 BC.

It's white and has some black spots (on the ears anyway). Must be a dalmatian.

Whatever he is, he's really, really cute. I want to reach though the monitor, pick him up and and hug him.

To me, he looks like he's got some kind of collie in him, but its hard to tell. Maybe Aussie. And I'm kinda leaning towards double merle, beacause I think his eyes are a little small . . . but that could just be the picture.

I love that some of you guys have said dal.. :lol-sign:

I have no breed guesses here, as all I can think is "what a freaky colored saluki" and he is definitely not a Saluki or mix... lol. But.. sooooo adorable. :D
