I was browsing around facebook the other day, and I came across some old photos of pit bulls from back, probably, at the very end of the Victorian age up through the 1950's.
And I came across this dog with this collar on. Typically, it's not something I would think that I would like myself, but I was really taken by this collar on this dog.
It kind of inspired me. I could not make an exact copy of the collar as I believe there are spikes used on that collar, and I won't use spikes on my dogs' collars. Also, that collar is wider than what I'd put on Ophie.
heh, I made this collar for Ophie. The two pyramids were Ben's idea, I only wanted to use one.
Here it is on Ophie, and she was NOT cooperative for photos. She just wanted to SLEEP. What do you think, color or black and white?
Color?
Or black and white?
The other side of the collar:
I KNOW the design is more masculine, and perhaps I'll make one for Lukey when we get our new Chocolate brown leather in, but I think it looks great on Ophie, and what's funny is, is that design is soooo NOT Ophie.:lol-sign:
