Weird. I haven't run into the 3x the rent thing yet. I guess it is good to know! We were just looking around at prices and what we could afford. X amount income more than the rent didn't occur to me. I didn't mean to say that apartments are affordable or anything against you. It was the 3x rent part that tripped me up. Wtf. Well that is annoying.

Did you know a lot of them ban Sibes and Malamutes though? PITA. I feel like we should ban together to take down these apartments. Occupy Apartments? Over IHOP. Mmmmm....pancakes. and coffee. Strawberries on pancakes. And ham. And just plot the demise of Denver's idea of apartment living.
Oh yeah, I totally didn't take offense or anything, sorry if it came off that way! I haven't looked *extensively* but I have run into it, and it's annoying. That's bizarre that they ban Sibes and Mals... I wonder what the reasoning is? Not that I'm down with banning breeds from apartments anyway, but sometimes I can see their reasoning, no matter how faulty... hounds for baying, "aggressive" breeds as "liabilities" etc... but why those two? Because they look vaguely wolfy? So strange. I'm really glad that my dogs aren't breeds that ever appear on lists.

YES. I am so down for an apartment takeover. It will be like a huge, very strangely set up house. Also, **** you, now I want waffles with strawberries and whipped cream.

My vent of the day. I was so busy with emails, interviews, pitting businesses against each other for ownership of me and all of that....I completely forgot about my Lexapro for over 48 hours. So now I am detoxing/readjusting again. So many issues today. Pretty sure people think I am like the Patient Zero of the zombie apocalypse or something. Or just completely insane.

Also one of my new jobs are about as competent as a toddler with taxes and has no idea what they are doing for schedules. Like it is Thursday. Two days left in the week. And they haven't done the schedule yet. Wat.

Other job I start Monday. And then suddenly it is Thanksgiving and Black Friday, which I am working.

And I have no idea how drug tests work in this state.
1. 3x the rent is common here. Super common. IT SUCKS. They have so many people moving here and a 12% increase in housing prices. . . so if you don't make ****tons of money or make a ton between two, you're SOL.

2. You pee in a cup. NO SMOKING for a few weeks beforehand. Most of the guys I knew in sales faked their tests, but I've never had a problem passing one.

3. GROUP HUG for you and Kendall. <3 K, if you didn't have Riff I'd suggest we be roommates, but that wouldn't work for the BF or Middie...

I'll just set Riff free in Cherry Creek and he can revert back to his natural state. Wild Riffers roaming the plains. :p

I'm talking to my mom about getting a place again. I think, if the stress of my brother being there isn't present, it would be better. Plus we'd be looking for a multi-level place so I can have a whole separate area. It's not perfect, but it would be better than before, and it would be better than trying to find roommates on CL or something. It wasn't appealing before and it's REALLY not appealing after the crap you've dealt with with your roommate. :(

Plus, she knows the dogs, they love her, and she would be fine with me getting another next year, which is the plan to train as a SD.

I have a friend at work (which hasn't happened in a long time) whom I've grown extremely fond of. We don't currently have any contact outside of being buddies at work (no phone numbers, no facebook, no email, nothing) and I have kept it that way because there's some delightful chemistry in the way we interact. I've established that our interactions can exist only within the friend zone, for the sake of our relationships at home and our positions as work associates.

I am so happy to have met someone at work whose company I enjoy, because work people as a whole had become so stale to me and he is a breath of fresh air.

I am bummed that I have to throttle our interaction because there's the chance of us liking each other too much. It's so rare that I find good, worthwhile people to have in my life and in this case, when I've found one, he has to be kept at a distance.

I found Honey Bee my 6 year old guinea pig foster passed away early this morning. Sadly was probably a combination of diabetes and/or heart failure/attack. But she was happy and hopefully passed away peacefully.

Now to see if her 5 year old cagemate Moonpie will pair with my baby or not and we'll just go from there... :(

LOL Well that can be remedied.

So weird. It is legal, but totally sort of not really.

BeAu and I are looking at a studio at an extended stay. Dog friendly, no credit pull, furnished and already set up. We are sorta hoping to bypass apartments in general until we fix our credit and just go straight for a house with CO's awesome First Homebuyer's program. But an apartment might be in our future and I sort of hate it. Especially now knowing that.

Families are stupid.

I am angry that we will never get to host a holiday for both families because your panties are in a wad over something that happened at my wedding rehearsal over two months ago. Get over it. She's never going to apologize to you. So, instead, you are making us split evrry holiday between both families, because let's face it. Last year we spent the whole christmas with them and I didn't stop hearing about it all year.

So. This year we were doing Thanksgiving dinner with them, Thanksgiving dessert with you. Screwing all of you over and doing Christmas Eve by ourselves. Christmas day was with you, and dessert on Christmas was with them. YOU told me not to bother coming for athanksgiving dessert because it was silly to drive all that way. We were furious. But you were unrelentless. Don't come. Come that Sunday instead. Have leftovers. Fine. We changed our plans.

What, now, because we are seeing his family twice in one week (rare) and we did not change our Christmas plans to spend the whole day/dessert with you now WE are the bad people???

Don't throw in that Dad is old. YOU WERE THE ONE WHO TOLD US NOT TO COME. You can't tell us not to come and then get to be angry we weren't coming. That's not how this works.

Ugh, some jerks are trying to get the childfree groups off facebook and I am like WTH??? Ugh, I am sick of some parents wanting to run this country ...

"I dont want that on TV because my kid might see it"
"I want that music censored because my kid might hear it"
etc ... What happened to actually PARENTING kids instead of them expecting society to parent them!

SO MUCH BLOOD IN THE CARPET!!!!

I have been scrubbing and scrubbing. Used up all my peroxide.

Everyone is fine. It was just a flipping nail. But it looked like a murder scene all over my carpet. So sick of cleaning blood up.

The plumber is here so we can finally update our washer/dryer to one that actually works! However, he brought his dog. His dog keeps going in my house from the basement where they are doing work AND running around in the street in front of my house. WTF?! Why? Just why??? Also, said dog was just brought over/in, he didn't ask.

I try not to vent here.Because reasons.

This is petty stupid vent.

I just feel like everyone hates me. And those who are nice to me, are pretending to like me, or are faking it. I also feel like burden asking(or getting) help from others. And, at times I just feel like I'm burdening people when I'm around them.

((((HUGS)))) I'm really sorry :(

I feel like that sometimes, but mostly I just hate myself, like the dislike and discomfort is focused inward, esp when I unintentionally hurt those close to me because of my mental disorders that make me act in ways that hurt those close to me.

I'm restless and anxious and restless and anxious and restless and anxious. This has been an ongoing issue for as long as I can remember, but it feels like I'm in a downward spiral and there's no reason for it
