So I have been on Chaz a while now, but I often come to realize that I don't know squat about alot of you that have been here forever, as all that getting to know stuff has been said and done years ago...

Wha'd you guys say about a re intro for everyone?

I'll start...

Iam Crystal, Crios is fine. iam 27 I live in CA and have five dogs, all rescues....

a pit bull

a pomeranian

a JRT/sheltie

a pug/chi

and a Chiweenie (sorry for the lame designer name)

I have two cats that get along GREAT with the dogs.

I also am a longtime fish keeper and reptile keeper/breeder. I currently own about 30 snakes. :)

if it hasn't been blantently obvious, my biggest thing is PR training and clicker training. All my dogs are trained without force :) All my dogs came with issues ranging from mild, to mildly severe...

anyway, feel free to ad on your reintro :)

This sounds like a great idea :)

My name is Erin and I'm 17 (18 in 8 days).

I do not currently have any dogs, the dog I had when I joined here was named Max, he was a Shar-Pei/Lab/Great Dane/Pit bull/whatever else you can think of mix. He passed away about 3 months after I joined, on my birthday. He was my first and only dog.

I "baby sit" for my aunt and uncles Shih-Tzu Phoebe and train her because I love to train, primarily clicker train, and she loves to learn. Her owners are pretty harsh when it comes to training, luckily they don't train commands, just manners. Basically they hit her quite a bit and she has some fear aggression with strangers. She eats nasty Pedigree kibble, though I sneak in a turkey neck here and there. If I can ever get her over her dislike of being touched by strangers I'd like to get her her CGC.

I do have two Siamese cats, Neko (age five) and Willie (age 3, who I got right before joining Chaz). They are awesome cats, Willie is very doglike and needy, follows me everywhere and begs for attention all the time, if he feels lonely he causes trouble in an attempt to get noticed and Neko is very sweet, sensitive and affectionate, he likes to roughhouse and play tag lol, not naughty though.

I volunteer at a dog rescue called Save-A-Dog and I plan to own a pit bull someday.

I will be going to College next year (sent in my applications a few weeks ago) and do not look forward to leaving my cats, they, along with my fish and lizard, have been cared for soley by me so my parents are going to get a big crash course in animal care before I go. They are going to have to learn how to feed Willie raw too. I'm taking the hermit crabs with me.

Anyway, on to the good stuff, here are some pics of all the critters:

I'll play...;)
I'm Christine--aka Bax :p
Let's just say I am an adult, and have been for awhile...and leave it at that!
I have the infamous hound brothers....Baxter a beagle/pointer mix, and Wilson a basset/? mix. I really just enjoy the company of my hound boys--they are entertaining, and loveable. I have done basic training with them, and some limited "trick" training. They are both adopted from shelters (different ones).

I'm Typhanie (Annie) I'm 20, my husband is Jon.
We're both soldiers stationed at Fort Carson, Co, we serve as transportation specialists (truck drivers.) I just got my PFC and he's a SPC. We are deploying to Iraq on March 11. we are supposed to be the last troops to go through.
We have two dogs, both live in AZ with my parents, but rest assured it is a VERY temporary situation.
Doom is a Flat Coated Retriever mix and Bobsie is a Tibetan spaniel mix of some sort. <3
This is us on my last visit home from Carson, after bathing and brushing and a trim for Bobsie. Booger is in the background.

I'm Shannon. You can call me Shannon, Saeleofu, Sael, whatever. I don't really care much for names ;)

I'm 22 and I have a 2 1/2 year old boxer that I have had for a year and a half. He got is CGC about 8 months ago, and we're currently working on rally, and trying to get into agility as well. I have done every but of his training myself. I don't know what type of trainer you'd call me, but I take bits from here and there and use them as I see fit. The way I see it, everything has a place. My dog knows several tricks, too, my favorite of which are "lights off" and "wave" (that's his favorite too, because it's easy xD). I work in a vet clinic at the moment.

I am planning on getting a standard poodle this fall/early next year to train as my service dog. I also plan to go to Bergin University of Canine Studies for my master's as some point, possibly this fall, possibly not until next fall. After I'm done there I will move to probably Washington and start a program with another trainer (former Seeing Eye trainer) training service dogs for other autistic adults. right now I'm in my last semester here and I will be graduating with a BA in psychology and a minor BS in biology in May.

Hello, I am Angie :D

Old enough to have kids in college and we'll leave it right there! LOL

Phoebe is our 38lb border mix, adopted from the HS, she is over 11 and we've had her the past 10 years, loves all young humans and considers them ALL hers:

Orson is our 75lb doberman, he'll be 4 in April
Goofy, fun loving, bane of Phoebe's existence, and above all entertaining:

Marty the man hating Amazon Red Lored parrot, approx. 19 years old, adopted from Craig's list:

And last but not least, my two youngest sons have parakeets, Snickers and Phoenix:

We aren't involved in any dog sports or anything that exciting. We are a large family, pretty boring most of the time actually, LOL, and that suits me and my husband just fine :D

Here's a pic of each of our pets. Most of these pets, Matt and I share the responsibility, and some are his and some are mine.

Finnegan, 1 year old tri Border Collie

June Bug, 10 month old calico cat

Palom, chocolate sable mitt ferret, and Porom, dark-eyed white ferret, both 1.5 years old

Yuffie, 3 year old piebald chinchilla

Bahamut Solaris (Basol) 9 month old female super-hypo tangerine carrot-tail baldy (whew!) leopard gecko

Ysera, 10 month old fire harlequin crested gecko

Mabel, 3 month old abyssinian, and Sable, 3 month old agouti guinea pigs

Lilith, youngish long-haired hamster

Whew! That's all!

I'm Devan (yes, with an "a"... but it doesn't bother me when people spell it with an "o" as that's more common, so I'll likely never correct you for it). You can call me by my first name or by my username -- doesn't matter to me! I am currently 19, and my interests are mainly just dogs and photography. I don't have an actual day-to-day job, but I do a ton of house-sitting/pet-sitting throughout the year and love it (especially when I get to bring Dance and/or Ripley along). I also do a lot of pet photography for people, and occassionally just people photoshoots. I graduated High School a year and a half ago, but haven't gone to post secondary of any sort because I wasn't at all sure of what I wanted to pursue. Now I'm leaning toward Photojournalism, but need to look into it more. I have three dogs: Dance is my almost 3 year old Nova Scotia Duck Toller, and The Best Girl Ever. I originally got her with hopes of getting into conformation and dog sports, but she doesn't have a good show ring temperament so we haven't done a lot of conformation. I want to get into Agility with her sometime soon though, and we both enjoy Obedience quite a bit; Ripley is my 9 month old (red/rust) Doberman puppy. He's a big pain these days, but we love him anyway, LOL. He's lots of fun and the sweetest pup there ever was; And Keira is our 2 year old (black/rust) Doberman. She's stubborn and thinks everything should revolve around her all the time, but we love her all the more for it. I think that's about all I can tell you about me. :)

I keep it simple. My username is my real name. ;)

Wife to one incredible husband, mommy to a 4 month old, and to 3 furkids!

Was raised with always 5+ dogs in the house. Started in 4-H training dogs as early as 8 years old. Started competing in the real thing at 9 years old, starting out in USDAA, CPE, AKC and UKC. Was very blessed to have had the oppurtunity to work with many types, breeds, sizes, and temperaments of dogs, not only through dog competitions, but through training and working with shelter animals. I have a very deep rooted passion for shelter/rescue animals, and am very impatiently waiting for the time that I can foster dogs and cats again. Currently going to school to become a vet tech, though I'm very interested in specializing in animal behavior. Would love to be able to work out of a vet clinic to help people with their pet's behavior problems and teach group classes to the public.

Cocoa, currently on vacation with Dana being spoiled rotten and enjoying the other cocker spaniel company :)

V, our1 year old 'dog-cat' who is crate trained, speaks, fetches, and will also sometimes sit on command. Also is fully clawed and never damaged anything ever. :) Had him since he was 2 days old.

Aramae, our 4ish year old, bipolar kitty. She's your 'typical' cat, and I'm the evil step-mom. She likes me sometimes, other times she hates me - mutual feelings! Love-hate relationship is what it is!
