At the vet today we were complimented on how well behaved and well trained my two are <3 So happy with that. Even though Blue DESPERATELY wanted to eat both of the hospital kitties (they were sleeping in the waiting area) and he sat at my feet whining and singing to them. LOL!

And of course the STUPID woman who allowed her 90lb male Chocolate Lab to rush up to Blue's face. It was quite obvious that I had placed Blue where I did so that he would NOT meet with the dog, and the woman was trying to keep her dog away but when he pulled she allowed herself to be pulled behind him. Sorry, I don't accept the "but he's so strong" as an excuse. Get your dog under control, one way or another, especially if he can out muscle you (and trust me, I have two who can). Good boy Blue for listening to "leave it" and "au pied" even with a big rude dog in your face.

The vet said that recently she is seeing so many more dogs with fear aggression that it's really becoming a concern. That's unfortunate. She was asking me what trainers in the area I suggest for behavior mod. It really almost makes me want to get back into training and maybe just do behavior mod since there aren't many trainers in my area who do that. Hmmmmm . . .

Every feel like carrying a sign when you go into places like that? Stay back 4 ft or something like that. I have no idea why people are so clueless .Good for them for being good, good for you for teaching them.

I attribute the rise in fear aggression to Mr. Milan. Honestly, working in grooming...we had quite a few dogs who were really well-behaved, and then within a few appointments because terrified and downright aggressive (fearfully so).

Every single owner of a dog that became like that admitted to suddenly tuning in to the dog whisperer.

ETA: I got on my rant and forgot to tell you CONGRATS. It's moments like those that make all the hard work worth it.

Put me in that gutter catagory too. I've seen this thread pop up in the new threads a few times today, and every time I read that you're so proud of your breasts, finally curiosity got the best of me and I had to see what your breasts did :) and now I see my eyes have failed me.

But congrats on the well tamed bEASTS. amazing what attention and training and interaction can do for a relationship isn't it? Good job

Very impressive on your and your dogs part but very saddening in everyway else

But it's always nice to walk away feeling that pride in your dogs and what you've done to make them that way

Good dog Blue! I hate the vet's office for that reason. My dog behaves himself. Why can't yours too? Bandit sits under my chair in the waiting room and if I allow him will sniff and lick the kittens that are up for adoption in the waiting room. We had an experience like that last time we were there and Bandit jumped into my land and was all MOOOOOM GET THIS FREAK SHOW AWAY FROM ME

I will admit though that Bandit does a wee bit of an excitement wiggle if there are puppies there for their shots. He LOVES young pups.

So glad Teeny & Blue were so well behaved. The training idea sounds like a good one. Why not do it before someone else does; your vet could send over some clients.

But, you know, it's a good thing to be proud of your breasts! And your beasts. And you get kinda pissed when someone walks up, uninvited, and pokes their face in your breasts.

Well this took a ridiculous turn all around. Thanks for the giggle, all. And yes, I am also proud of my breasts. They were well behaved as well ;)
