I'm posting this now, because I don't think I'll be able to later on tonight.

Revy's enzymes and B12 injections are not working anymore. Her liver is failing, presumably due to complications from EPI and chronic malnutrition. We've made the agonizing decision to end her suffering tonight.

She is three years old. I did everything right - went to a great breeder, got a puppy with a fantastic pedigree... but sometimes things like this just happen. It's nobody's fault... it just sucks.

I really wish this wasn't the end to her story.

I am so sorry, Leah :( These things seem to happen to the best of the owners.

Godspeed, Revy. You'll be sorely missed.
 
:( I'm so sorry! I remember meeting that tiny, adorably social, little ball of fluff at a UKC conformation show.

Oh Leah, I'm so sorry. Hugs to you and Revy tonight. Revy has made me smile so many times, both when I had the privilege to meet her and through your pictures. She is a fantastic little dog and knew how to live life to the fullest. <3
 
Know that you and Revy will both be surrounded by tons of Chaz love tonight. <3

Oh hell, I am so, so sorry. You've been so strong and diligent with her. She was very lucky to have you. Be strong, she still needs you.

Oh I am so sorry. She seems like such a great corgi from all your photos and posts and you really don't see enough great corgis.

It sucks so much that these things happen to great owners and breeders. :(. I'm so sorry.
 
I am so bloody sorry. This is just too much. :(

I'm glad I had the chance to meet her--she was such a cool girl.

She really, really is. I think all the corgi-haters (especially the Pembroke haters) would change their tune if they could meet Revy. I'd say the most common comment we get with her is. "WOW, I didn't know corgis could be this cool!" Happy, upbeat, , agile, active, biddable, great with other dogs... that's not the "face" of the Pembroke Welsh Corgi.

Alas... I don't think we'll ever get another one. Revy's a tough act to follow.
 
I'm so sorry Leah. Revy has always been one of my favorite Chaz dogs. ((((hugs)))) for you and her. I'll be thinking of you guys.
 
Oh God. I'm so so sorry Leah. I saw this thread title and was hoping it was another Revy. She always sounded like such a great little dog. =<
 
I am so sorry to read this. :( How unfair. But I have no doubt that you did everything you could for her. She was so cute and sounded like so much fun!
 
So sorry Leah :( Revy is one of the sweetest dogs I've ever mer her a kiss from us. And you will be in our thoughts. (( hugs ))
