Am I the only one who didn't find it offensive at all?

It's an opinion. Just like before I got Lucy, when my mom said the dog couldn't weigh more than 20 pounds...I told her "yeah right, I want a real dog." Doesn't mean I think small dogs are worthless, that's what some people prefer. And OC just prefers that dogs are given something to do, not just lie around all day.

That said, neither of my dogs have a job of any sort. But I can definitely see where OC is coming from.
