Whoa whoa whoa... This crosses the line for me. You aren't honestly suggesting that we would rather see our child die than be gay? This is when I know this discussion has turned into seeing who can be more outrageous and outlandish.
We will always always love our daughter no matter what but our children will always do things the parents don't approve of but that doesn't mean we don't lo e them unconditionally.
Yea that kind of irked me to.
I don't know why Hannah was even brought into this, but okay.
This thread went from 7 pages to 16 in less than probably 2 hours.
I am a Christian, pray every night before I go to bed, I ask my sins be forgiven every night. I cuss like a sailor, I can say hateful things, I have cussed at my mother, I have hit people, but I ask my sins be forgiven.
I have NEVER said so & so can't get married. To me, its none of my business who marries who.
Suzy & Mary want to get married? Ok.
Bob & Joe want to get married? Ok
Katie & John want to get married? Ok.
Doesn't make a difference to me. That is so & so's life, not mine. But nonetheless, I will be happy for them and say congrats on their marriage. Just because I am a Christian doesn't mean I have to hate gays/lesbians for getting married and it doesn't mean that I have to be against equal rights. I am ALL for equal rights.
I also don't care about someone else's religion. Muslim, Catholic, Christian, believing in reincarnation, etc etc? Good for you. That is YOUR belief and yours only.
I know that sounds harsh saying I don't care, but its not ME. That is not what I believe in.
Yall know I was with Charla, for 2 years. Some of the best and worst times of my life were spent with her. Do I regret it? Sometimes. But overall, I learned from it and I asked for forgiveness.
I've been saved. I ask for forgiveness. I believe strongly in my God. I believe in Heaven, Hell, God, the devil. And I also believe that the sun shines out my @ss some mornings. But those are my beliefs.
