Or when we had to log off the internet every time someone wanted to make phone call..

The horror.

I asked my one coworker this evening if she remembers a world before the computer mouse. She doesn't.

Dirty thirty.

I remember trying to sneak onto the interwebs in the middle of the night in high school and the modem was SO LOUD when I was logging on. I would try to shove a pillow over various parts of the computer to muffle the sound.....

Sure lots of virtual rocking chair here. I remember the internet before ICQ became popular!

I'm 33. I will be 34 in June. I often get guessed at around 23 by people who meet me and I alternately feel 17 or 70 depending on the day.

I had to go through high school with NO internet!! (well it was there but only really geeky people had it and it was NOTHING like it is now)

16. I can't remember if I was 13 or 14 when I joined. I've learnt so much since I first joined!!

Thank goodness you posted. I was starting to think I was the youngest one. I'm 17. Don't kill me! However, most of you probably could have guessed my age. I don't act mature online

20, I was pretty stoked to see I was still in the 2nd youngest category, not so happy that so many are still 18-19!

TIME GOES BY FAST, FOLKS.

I remember that if someone called while you were on the internet it booted you off.

I hated AOL :p

All you **** kids get off my lawn!

And my first internet access was on my Commodore 128 with a 300 baud modem back in the 80's. Listserves, BBS, etc. were the "forums" of us ancient ones :rofl1:
