I am breeding the first F1 generation designer dog with the purpose
of creating the ultimate family survival and protection dog they will
soon be registered with the ACHA club ,they are not mean or part pit
but both breeds are known for their love of children and their protective
abilities it is the first merger of beauty and brawn, and intelligence with
tenacity able to hunt human or animal and protect against both
and yet both breeds are renowned for their love of owner and family
using champion bloodlines from each dog breed get ready to meet the
SHEPOGO DOG can you quess the two breeds used

I'm thinking they can't be much, because no breeder worth a darn would allow their dogs into a breeding program like that.

'... able to hunt human or animal ...'? Why are you hunting humans? New food source?

'... family survival ...'? Something coming up soon, like an Apocalypse, that I wasn't aware of?

I'll say German Shepherd and Dogo Argentino. Do I win anything?

im going to give you fair warning...

there are very very few on this forum who will agree with your veiws on these kinds of breeding practices.
so be prepared to answer alot of potentially hostile questions if you want to be considered repuatable.
i for one would like to know what health testing your breeding stock has as well as titles and acheivments for both parents.

i also suggest you dont call them "designer"

untill they are accepted as a breed, breeding ture, ect they are and will continue to be a mixed breed.
im guessing your attempting to breed a shepard breed with a dogo, which i personally think is an absolutly TERRIBLE idea!

Hey guys, are you sure this isn't meant as a joke? When I saw the subject line (note the smiley), I thougt it was a member playing a joke/making a funny post.

We previously proposed the Great Wawa.

And I want to cross Uncle Fred with a standard poodle to create the Treeing Woodle for coonhunters with allergies.

well im personally giving the poster the benefit of the doubt for now...however if the thread takes a turn or the poster proves troll (and not just ignorant) then it will be properly delt with.

just remember, while the OP may or may not be a troll, the post is still visable on things like google searches and information is always valuable, lets make sure some good information is on each post even if we dont agree of take kindly to the subject matter so that those looking for REAL answers, dont get the thought that the likes of these posts are something to joke about :)

Ok, so why do you need a dog bred to hunt humans? Congratulations, you just created the new poster child for BSL.

And there are PLENTY of established breeds out there that already perfectly combine beauty and brawn and protective ability.

F1 breedings are nothing more than a mix, there is nothing solidified and you have nothing that breeds true. Therefore, you cannot claim to have created anything resembling a breed yet, anymore than I could go breed my Aussie with the neighbors Lab and claim to have created the SuperDog.

we have plenty of fun times, fun threads and fun stuff in threads like this
and that is absolutly 100% fine and dandy...

but we also have to remember not everyone is a troll, mabe this person is just THAT misguided...
and that there are folks out there that could look at this thread...go wow noone said that was a bad idea i could go make my own breed itll be super easy...

WE know were joking around.
i just personally feel that for all the joking around there needs to be at least a little reality check in threads like this.

Zoom, you are referring to the Whoodle, which does not tree anything. The Treeing Woodle is, of course, a serious hunting dog, with curls.

thank you for clarifying that misinterpretation. It is of course, understandable that the two breeds could be confused--however, the Woodle is a hound, not a terrier.

Maybe you can call it a tree walking hoodle ? :p

then you cant confuse it with anything like a woodle :p
