I'm just so friggin annoyed.

yesterday was a hectic day. got a nail in the tire AGAIN. so had to put the donut on. so this morning I had to get it in to get it fixed. well because of where the nail went in they couldn't patch it so I had to get a new tire and the stupid pressure guage thing that the van has to alert you to low pressure had to be reset or some stupid thing.

$190 and TWO HOURS later I finally get out of there.

next mission is to find a pavillion to rent for hannah's birthday but low and behold... everyone I checked is booked.

so I thought OK I'll call about the little one at the park down the street. I get super bitch on the phone who seems annoyed that I am evening calling the township office and gives me attitude about how they aren't the ones that rent them out and then asks me which park and tells me that it's first come first serve.

well to me that means the first to rent it is the first to get it. that's how it works for EVERY OTHER township office. So I ask who I call to see if it's already been reserved and then she gets snarky and talks to me like I'm an IDIOT and says NO first one to get there gets it.

oh yeah that's a great plan for a birthday party. oy.

I've been so frigging busy with my dad being here and getting ready for the trip we are leaving for on saturday that I need to get the invitations out this week and I just haven't had TIME.

next we have a meeting with our lawyer about some stuff so I just can't WAIT to see how that's going to go wrong.

I'm ready for this day to be over before I explode. seriously I have a long fuse and it takes a lot to make me snap... but I'm getting close today

Just as I was about to lose it I called another township about another park and not only was the lady SUPER pleasant to deal with... they had a pavillion open. HOORAY.

maybe the day is looking up lol I still could use a drink though.

Sorry your day started off bad, but it looks like things may just be looking up! Good luck with the rest of the day, atleast now you know where the party will be so you can work on sending out the invitations!

lol the worst part is... Hannah is at daycare today so this is supposed to be my day to relax and get stuff done around the house. and I haven't been able to do EITHER of those yet lol.

I swear the week before vacation is the most stressful. I don't get it

lol anything with hard liquor in it works for me :p

:rofl1: Hooray for Brian.......Kevin might have let me jump! hahaha

Sucky news about the dog sitter, hopefully you can find a replacement.........all the other stuff will work itself out though. Even if you hadn't found a pavilion, worse case scenario? You have it in the backyard, haha

Like I said to Amber in her thread about the marriage license....

Everything happens for a reason. We will worry about the things we have control of. The rest will play out the way it is supposed to. I mean, I have lost a lot of trust in the person we had been using as a sitter anyway...

I agree with this. :p Clearly, your dog sitter backing out means you should send them to me! :rofl1:

Seriously though. . . I hope everything works out before vacation. What a headache. :(

LOL, I read the "bell tower" comment as more of a Lee Harvey Oswald bell tower incident, not a jumper. As long as Sparks doesn't have a Carcano, we should be safe.

Sparks, I can commiserate with the situation - except it's usually a weekly thing for me. I find that once I'm to my "bell tower" point and ready to take the world out, things usually mellow out. There are days I feel like Job and they can't get any worse...then usually I find out - oh yes, they can be MUCH worse.

Just don't say "it can't get worse" because karma will tell you otherwise for sure. Try to take it in stride, have a drink or 10, and relax. :)

This was a great reminder to me earlier in my marriage license thread. Tanya, I hope you both find a pet sitter soon and I'm sorry you've had a stressful day. It can be really difficult when it seems like everything is going wrong at once... can come off a bit overwhelming. I hope things improve though

LOL yes that is what I meant. but at more than one point today jumping seemed like a good option too LOL.

I am feeling a bit better now... but that may be because I had a couple of drinks to lift my spirits ;) but I was pretty down earlier. I said to Brian that I don't think I've been this down since I was stuck up in London last year and everything was crumbling around me.

my mom made me feel a bit better too. I called her (like I do everyday) and ranted to her about it and honestly she couldn't help but laugh. not in a mean way but she said it was just the way I was describing the events. but even she admitted that she doesn't think she's ever seen me so frustrated. so her light heartedness kinda helped and made me laugh at the situation because it's jsut all so crazy and ridiculous.

and to make myself feel better I stopped and bought myself a pumpkin so I could bake some pumpkin seeds (my favorite) and I told Brian if they didn't turn out I was gonna burst into tears :lol-sign:

THEN... I had some orders to pack up and go figure I could find one earring but couldn't find the match. I looked everywhere and was about to lose it when Brian came out and said "what's wrong... you look like you are about to have a meltdown" so I told him that I was missing an earring that I needed to ship and showed him the earring....

now let me say that Brian doesn't usually notice little details especially when it comes to jewelry lol... but as soon as I showed him he said "I think I know where the other one is" I was doubtful because usually if I dont know where it is neither does he. but he got his car keys... went out to his car (strange no?) and sure enough came back with the missing earring :yikes: I guess it must have gotten hooked on his keychain one day and he just forgot to bring it in.

so Brian definitely deserves the greatest hubby EVER award today lol

Nolu.. prepare for two misbehavin hound dogs at your doorstep on saturday :p

if we can't find a sitter then the worst case is they will have to go to the kennel. but that comes with a lot of issues. first is beezer needs to be updated on shots before saturday.... so he has an appt on friday. second is getting them to the kennel while wrangling hannah or finding someone to watch her. THIRD and MOST important is... putting beezer in the kennel for a week is REALLY going to set him back as far as his anxiety goes.

but at this point (and maybe it's the drink talking) it's just gotten so ridiculous that I almost just have to laugh because if I don't I think I'll cry lol

yeah that's what I told Brian today.

if something went wrong today and then again tomorrow and then another the next day I think I would be in a much better place but it ALL happened at once and it does NOT help that I have PMS lol that just makes everything 10 times worse

Then laugh. (((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))) It's often better than crying. My day has sucked, too (missed my favorite class because I was feeling too ill to drive myself) but it could definitely be a LOT worse and I'm trying to remember that and where the heck the pepcids are at the same time.

A drink or two more and a nice snack/dessert can't hurt, either.

So did I, lol! Tanya's never struck me as a jumper ;)

Laugh about it - trust me, after yesterday's incident...I sat down and laughed like a maniac after telling my grandmother what happened...it just sounded so ridiculous when I said it that it was funny, and she agreed.

I also feel much better about it having done that.
