I was in the Ozarks, on a road trip with 2 friends, when I encountered Jack. He was in rough shape.
I decided to take him with me. I'd always wanted a dog but was waiting for the right opportunity. I brought him to the vet in St. Louis the morning after finding him and besides being covered in ticks he was healthy; about 6 months old.
Jack is now 1 year and the coolest and by far the brightest dog I've ever met. Calm, intelligent, friendly with dogs and people, super affectionate, playful, devoted, fast, agile, adorable; an unusually awesome dog. I'm totally spoiled and DEFINITELY the lucky one in our relationship. No one can believe I found him on the side of the road.
Most people think he's a Bernese cross.
