Just curious. how long does it take you to get ready to go out for the day. Not talking about out for any special occassions just general day to day things.

for me.. 15-20 mintues lol. I shower in the evening when Brian is home to watch Hannah. When it's time to get ready to go out I get dressed, go brush my teeth, brush my hair up into a ponytail, put on deodorant and go.

NOW this doesn't include getting hannah ready to go. that takes a little bit more time than the 15 minutes.

but just my routine is about 15 minutes. always has been lol

From bed to leaving for work is 15 minutes tops. I can do less if I'm just going to do kennels or something (no changes of clothes required;)) or if I'm going somewhere other than work (flip flops are faster than tennis shoes).

yeah I got into the habit of showering in the evening after working at fastfood places. you came home smelling like burgers and covered in grease and sweaty as all get out... so I had to shower at night anyway.

Depends on what getting ready is on that particular day. If I'm putting on makeup and doing my hair in addition to a shower, it can take an hour. If I'm just showering and going, it can take less than 15 minutes. I'd say that I usually take about 20 minutes, though, but there are always days where it's more or less time.

This depends. If I have to take a shower and wash my hair, I need at least an hour to get it blow dried after the 10-15 minute shower.

If my hair's decent and I don't need a shower, 5 minutes to throw some clothes on.

OH... and most of my time getting dressed is spent running around the house trying to remember where I last took off my flip flops lol.

1-2 hours for a normal day, more if I'm going out.

Shower - 15 minutes
Face Routine - 10 minutes
Doing things with towel on my head to help dry my hair - 20 minutes
Blow Dry Hair - 7.5 minutes
Straighten Hair - 7.5 minutes
Get Dressed - 10 minutes
Makeup - 5-10 minutes
Miscellaneous time between things - 20 minutes
Packing my purse 5-10 minutes

Yeah and factor in Izzie constantly begging for attention.

1-2 hours on a normal day for me. Weekdays I shower at night and then in the morning I get dressed and do makeup and hair. Weekends it takes 2 hours because I shower, blow dry hair and do my makeup and hair.

OH man I had a friend who took 2 hours to get ready every single day... we were TEN years old. what 10 year old needs to take 2 hours to get ready to go out and get sweaty and dirty and ride bikes? lol drove me NUTS. I was up, eat, get dressed and want to GO and start our day. instead I had to sit around... and wait... and wait... and wait lol and waiting is not something I'm good at

Only as long as it takes me to get out of bed and be able to walk....then to stagger down the hall to the coffee machine. Once I have my coffee, I am ready. :p

30 mins if I showered the night before, 45 minutes if I need to shower. But I really like getting up an hour early, then I can eat breakfast. When I used to live farther away from work, it'd take me 1 1/2 hours to get ready in the morning, because I'd try to give Luna a long walk before I had to leave her all day.

I wake up, get outta bed, drag a comb across my head.

That's about it. 10 minutes to ****, brush my hair, shave, brush teeth, and do other accouterments (deodorant and what not) and away we go.

I can't imagine taking 2 hours to get ready. That would mean getting up at 4:45 every morning!

^that

On a normal work day, I got dressed, a bit of make up on (normally some mineral powder, blush, a little eye liner and some mascara and that's it), and hair done in less than 20 minutes most mornings :) (hair done for work normally meant running the straightener through it, or putting in a nice clip)

To run around town, do groceries, errands etc? 5 minutes tops. Hair in pony tail or clip, sunglasses in place of make up, and slip on shoes, hahaha

Some place "special" ?? That can take anywhere from 1-2 hours because I always start with fresh washed hair to be sure it cooperates with me, LOL

Nails are normally done once a week or more as needed so those aren't counted in the "getting ready to go" routine ;)

Depends on how fast I want to get out the door... or how late I felt like sleeping in.
I can get up, brush my teeth, wash my face, put on moisturizer and makeup, get dressed, brush my hair, and get out the door in five minutes. IF I want to. I've done it recently, like a month ago I think it was. I seriously just did NOT feel like getting up early for an appointment I had, so I literally rolled out of bed twenty minutes before the appointment knowing it would take me fifteen minutes to drive over there. It wasn't even rushing, it was just getting stuff done one right after another.

But usually I take about forty-five minutes getting up, playing with the dog, checking e-mail while I throw the tennis ball fifty times, check the weather channel, see what's on HGTV (normally Designed To Sell)... I don't normally go right from one thing to another. Some days I feel like sleeping in a bit longer so I spend less time poking about.

I hate showering in the mornings. Like, seriously, I'm already fresh out of bed and cranky and now you want me to be wet and cranky? I don't think so. Plus my hair takes forever to dry so it would be wet all day long, and I hate that.

like 5 minutes. i just get dressed and brush my hair and teeth. i take baths in the evening most of the time. even if i put on makeup, it's just mascara and eye shadow so it's like 2 minutes and doing my hair if i decide to doesn't take long at all
