Back in 1992...... I was in 2nd grade at the time.
You make me feel old. I was graduating college that year.:yikes:

As for the name calling and all (McPain, McSame, McBush, Obrack, Buttcrack Osama, Barack Yomama, etc.),
I'm all for bashing each others candidate. Attack their record, the policies. Make up stuff that they did. I don't care. That's all politics as usual. The name calling just drives me batshit crazy for some reason. It's childish and beneath each and everyone of us who have progressed beyond the 4th grade. These men and women have risen to a point in their lives where we at least owe them the dignity of calling them by their name. I've listened to people say "Shrub" and "Chimp" for President Bush for 8 years. I heard people calling President Clinton names for 8 years previous to that. Have we, as a society, not matured to the point where we can make our displeasure known while at least giving people basic human dignity and respect? To me, calling someone a goofy name says that you have no other argument against them so you resorted to name calling.
I'm not holier than anybody. I'm guilty of it, too and I kick myself when I catch me doing it. Whoever wins will be my president. I may not agree with his policies. I may even join in protests calling for policy changes. I won't, however, make it a habbit of dehumanizing him by giving him a cartoonish name.
Feel free to disagree. I've got thick skin.

FWIW, I voted my conscience this morning, splitting my ticket all over the place amongst R's, D's and I's.
