I envy all the land you seem to have, baha.

If I had land like that and areas to walk Reggin with no other neighbors and stray dogs in sight, I'd be out every day with reggin in one hand and a stroller in the other. Oh the freedom!!!! I guess I should say TWO strollers since I am having another baby soon. :yikes:

Interestingly enough, my fiance and I are planning on moving to Oklahoma once he gets some things taken care of first. His grandmother has a manufactured home on many many acres and we have been invited to move there, on their land, and have a house built for us. WOOT! I dream of that day....

No on all four questions.

But apparently to some I have "some little frilly dog" so I guess I really don't count. :)

LOL, I would NEVER think your "little frilly dogs" don't count! I would imagine it's just easier for you to tire them out when they take 4-5 steps to your every ONE :D

You ain't kidding...:rofl1: Though when I do turn on my treadmill, for me, the all scatter away. Might be because a few, Kassie and Boomer, flew off by accident wanting to join me while I was on it. Scary at the moment, funny now. lol

I have what some people seem to consider "frilly" dogs. For whatever reason lol. Dachshunds are soo not frilly dogs. They are dig machines, bark machines, adventerous, brave...I could go on and on.

And my chihuahua enjoys exercise. A lot of people think Chihuahuas don't need exercise because they are so small. How wrong are they? lol

Frilly dogs need exercise, too. That's probably why so many people have problems with them. They regard the dog as a trinket, not a real dog that has real dog needs.

Reggin, homes and land are fairly cheap in OK, provided you don't need to be too close in to town, or in one of the upscale neighborhoods. Our place was a foreclosure that we got for $65K. 6-year-old doublewide on 5 acres. We sacrificed some of the niceties we used to appreciate in town, like being a 5 minute walk from QT, CountryMart, pizza joints, movie rental places, banks, etc. In return, we got crappy utilities and lots of room to breathe and not be bothered. Fair trade-off, I suppose. :)

I use "flirtpole" type toys with Eve and Zaphod. They love it, it's good exercise. I can't get them into a springpole - they just have no interest in playing with something that I'm not involved in.

Yeah, I dont want to live in any upscale neighborhoods. I'd rather live out in the middle of nowhere than to have neighbors right there next to me. I'd say its a fair trade-off. I've lived in the city before, and it is nice being close to the "action", but if my dogs are happy... then I am happy. Thats why I want LAND. His grandmother lives on 25 acres, so thats plenty for all of us. And its weird because I am inheriting land in OK when MY grandmother passes away as well.
