I put homeland as USA and favorite breed from there as Boston Terrier. I would post a picture, since they're so cute, but I don't know how to move a picture from a website to a post on here. I found some really cute puppy pictures!!

oh guys, you don't know what you're getting into.... i'm Native American, Greek, Irish, Czechloslovakian, Welsh, French, Dutch, Polish, Scottish, English, and i'll do italian as well since i lived with a hardcore italian family for four years (plus i love Neopolitan mastiffs....)

Native American Indian Dog (thanks mostly to Una on this board, he's SO gorgeous, after i saw him i had to do some research on the breed)

or Catahoula Leopard dog, if that counts...it was created in America, just not necessarily by the natives...

i'll do the rest later, don't have time now.

I myself am a mutt, but I do know some countries that I originated from:

Ireland: Soft Coat Wheaten Terrier

Hungary: Vizsla

England: Flat-Coated Retriever (especially liver)

Scotland: Collie (rough)

Germany: Doberman

I know there's more, but I can't think of what they are at the moment.

MilosMommy- I have to tell you that you can't be Czechoslovakian. As a Czech (Born in Chicago but spoke only Czech util I went to school) I know that not only are Czechs and Slovaks not the same and have a different language, but they don't even like each other much. We may have been one nation for a while but it was an artificial union.

Anyway I guess that puts me in for the Cesky Terrier and the Czech Wolfdog. I don't know if the Slovaks have managed to produce any unique breeds.

They're from the Caucasus Mountains in Russia, but close enough ;)
The Ukraine use to be part of the USSR, because of the transitive property they are from the Ukraine ;)

Plus the Ukraine doesn't really have any of its own dog breeds as far as I know. They do however have several feral children raised by dogs.

:p I think the South Russian Ovcharka is from the Ukraine.

Ive met/shown most of the molosser russian breeds and the most impressive and really a Russian breed is the Black Russian Terrier.

Here is a pic of the 3 Ovcharka breeds so you can judge size

You will find the CO above as well as a CAO/CAS and a SRO.

You will also find the above CAO an SRO in the New Dob Bible.
