Labrador:

Farm Collie - Because I'm weird and think a sane Chloe would be a blast to own:

Generic Chihuahua/Rat Terrier/Boston Terrier mutt - rescue of course!:

Spanish Mastiff:

And you know, having four dogs isn't too bad. ^_^ Having one of each sounds good to me! Now to just figure out what order to get them in...

I've always wanted a Doberman, my grandmother had them.

My husband & I have been looking for a while, but I brought home my bc mix.

I do also want:

Great Dane
My old boss had Bernese Mtn. Dogs & I love them.

Today I really want a pointing breed. So cool!

Or a GSP or an English pointer...

I really want to try bird hunting some day.

You know you just want to be like me:

;)
Omg I do! Jealous over here! That's the one dog thing I want to try the most. I'm trying to get my dad to take a puppy from my uncle's next English pointer litter (he's been offered) for that reason. I think it would be so cool!

Today I'll take a few more chihuahuas.

Like this pretty blue merle:

Eeek! Want!

Today I also want a chihuahua. And I also want a CORGI! I never thought I would want one, I think they're adorable, but never even considered owning one. I've been seeing a lot of cute corgi pics on here, and I googled puppy pictures last night and was "eeeeek"ing over the cuteness!!!

AHHHHH<3

Also, a husky.

<3

And a mini Aussie.

Holly's breeder also breeds mini aussies, and she has a husky litter, AND an aussie litter, and I want one of each. LOL! They're too cute!

What is it with people and their obsessions lately with Toy and Mini Aussies? I mean, really, they're not even real Aussies, because no one tries to hold true temperament or ANYTHING in those lines, because they just want the smallest merle dog they can produce. I wish people would realize that they're a trend/fad in breeding, same as chorkies, puggles and all those other designer breeds. The people who are producing these dogs are NOT people any responsible dog owner should be supporting.

AMEN, ZOOM!!

Aussies are and will always be my first love. My childhood dog was an Aussie (well, she was supposed to be one, might have been a cross), and two years later we got another one. Both were the absolute best dogs and I miss them dearly. Our neighbors got a Mini Aussie from Congress (big QH show - Minis are turning into the new horseperson dog) and while he's supposed to be a terrific Mini, I'm less than impressed. He's about the size of a small sheltie, snipey, yappy, timid and can be aggressive. When you're only breeding for size other important factors like disposition (and health, and conformation, etc) often become secondary. Of course she has a line up of people wanting to breed to him because he's the smallest mini anyone has ever seen and he's marked really nicely - he's the perfect blue merle. Honestly I wouldn't even care that much (just as long as the dogs are treated well and sold to good homes), I just hate how people think that these "Mini/Toy Aussies" are just like real Aussies, when really they're two completely separate types and breeds.

Alright, done my rant now :D

Zoom, I've been meaning to make a thread about mini aussies to ask just that - whether they were a real breed or not. I'd never heard of them until recently, so I wasn't sure if it was just a "teacup/mini/toy" specifics kind of thing or whether they were an actual breed, or a new breed people were trying to produce, etc, etc. Thanks for clearing that up!!! (And you as well, Sit Stay!) I guess a lot of people are just ignorant to the fact that they're not a real breed (me included before now).
