Here's the deal - I may dislike the look of a breed generally, but I have found specific dogs of that breed to be lovely.
For one, I don't like Afghan Hounds generally, but there is a member on the forum with a show line Afghan Hound that I find to be beautiful and elegant. I also don't generally like the look of Pugs, but at the same time I'd actually not mind owning one and adore Pugs personally. I also like the the athletic, fit Pugs I have seen around the forums.
I used to dislike Chinese Cresteds, especially the hairless ones, but now I just love them!! I think that is the only hairless breed I like, though.
Oh, and Neo Mastiffs and English mastiffs I don't care for. And of course English Bulldogs. I have honestly never met or seen an English Bulldog I liked, unfortunately. I don't like Bull Terrier heads, either.
It's really not to say that I don't like examples of these dogs at an individual level, because I often do. I just am not a fan of the way they look overall.
Clumber Spaniels. There are a couple in the neighborhood and I don't like the look.
