What's an unpopular opinion that you keep secret bc you want to avoid confrontation?

I think people who use text/msn speak when posting on forums or in emails need to go back to school. Or be shot. Use full words, damnit.
Get rid of a pet/animal, unless there are extreme circumstances, you immediately lose my respect. Dump your pet at a shelter or rescue, I basicly think you are the scum of the earth and want nothing to do with you. I honestly can't say there are exceptions to that.

I am also going to add,Men should not wear 3/4 length trousers AND SHOULD NOT HAVE HAIRY LEGS...so gross.
I have really horrible fashion opnions,ie.Crocs are evil,flared jeans(or anything other than skinny) is wrong,wellingtons are never needed,neither is anything sensible,however their mostly jokes,I only voice these when with like minded friends etc and I don't actually care how people dress or judge them for it.
Also making politically incorrect jokes are the best,but I only make them around like minded people.

I do think many of my opinions though are fairly popular (like gay marriage, most polls have the majority either in favor or dont care)...but others are less "mainstream" - like my views on birth, parenting, schooling, conventional medicine, and more. My religion is not mainstream either but way more understood and talked about that when I first began my path 12 years ago lol.

I can't stand the short bootie shorts I see girls wearing all the time nowadays. It's like the shorter the better and personally I find it distasteful and slutty.

Who cares what celebritites are doing in their lives..why is this news?
What is the deal with people spending so much time/money on looks? Seems like EVERYONE is getting highlights lowlights, nails, plastic surgery, etc.
Why would anyone want to live in one of the subdivisions where all the houses are packed like sardines, they all look the same, and sometimes the streets all ahve the same name?
Who cares what celebritites are doing in their lives..why is this news?

I think I do have a few opinions that grate on others. Yes I am an atheist, pro-choice, anti death penalty, socialist independent, who doesn't believe Obama is Satan or even a bad president. I like science as a decision making tool. I don't believe animal research is wrong. I eat meat I'm fully willing to kill myself and in fact prefer it that way. I think most of what the TV tells you is a lie and that public education is designed to make an average idiot out of your children.

These are for my fellow Animal Science/tech students at school:
- Vaccinating your dog every year is ridiculous and I think a limited vaccine protocol should be taken.
- Putting flea and tick chemicals all over your dogs "just in case" is also ridiculous. If you know you'll have a flea problem, then go for it, but I'm not going to treat my dogs when in 16 years we haven't had a problem...and don't look down on me because of that.
- Science Diet is NOT God's gift to dog nutrition.
- Don't alter early, unless you absolutely cannot handle an intact dog. If at all possible, wait until the dog is physically mature, please. Because S/N has cons, as well as benefits. It isn't just all rainbows and sunshine like the vet's say.
- It seems to be an accepted fact now that Pit Bulls aren't "evil", but please God, can we remember to not paint other breeds just as broadly? If a Pittie is a good dog depending on genetics, environment, and training, then aren't other breeds entitled to the same standard?
- "Positive" training doesn't mean you can't have balanced training. And yes, I would rather use a prong than a head halter and no, that does not make me a cruel, animal abusing idiot.
Just in general:

- Jesus is the only Son of God (and everything else that follows from that statement is also my opinion.)
- The world isn't going to end in 2012.
- There are no aliens.
- Don't chew on or pick your nails. That is gross.
- Shopping is overrated.
- If you aren't able to be proud of who you are and respect yourself, how do you expect a partner in a relationship to come along and be proud of you and respect you?
