We don't have our outside decorations up yet, but we have been decorating the inside. We got a live tree, and decorated it, and have put a bunch of decorations around on the tables and windows and doors. I don't have pictures of everything yet, but here's what I do have:

In the process of decorating the tree (you can see the ornament boxes on the table lol):

With flash

Finished:

(Please ignore the boxes on the ottoman, those are boxes of decorations lol) I wanted to include this cause you can see the lights on the mantle.

I'll get pictures of the other decorations asap. :)

Please share your holiday decoration photos!!! :D

We got a real tree this year wooo.

Lol just ignore the fact that I hadn't cut the tape or whatever off that one branch when I took these.

And this is my little tree in my bedroom haha

We have other decorations up around the house too, I just have no pictures.

I love your tree! It's sooooo full and pretty! Ours is a little fuller than in those photos (taken the day we bought it) because it settled some, but not as full as yours!

I also love the tree in your room! My sister and I have one in our room as well, but it's not decorated yet. It's silver lol! We have one like the one in your room in our front hall/foyer so you can see the lights from the road.

I don't have any photos of the outdoor stuff right now but we have a few things out there. We have an inflatable 8 ft santa... I had to perform a little surgery on him yesterday in the DARK lol the ring that you tie the support ties to ripped out so I had to so it back in. I couldn't see and my fingers were numb but he's fixed lol. We also have some pathway markers... mickey, minnie, pluto and donald lol. We also have a spiral tree and a reindeer that light up and then just some lights strung on the rock garden

We set up our tree on Friday.

It's not a pretty looking tree but we love it lol

and here are some of our favorite ornaments. We always get an ornament each trip we take to Disney.

this one actually came from the Disney store not from a trip lol

Your trees are so pretty! We have wayy too many Christmas ornaments so our tree is always over dressed and mis-mashed looking, but it always looks pretty nice. My mom does a good job making the ornaments fit.

Our decor isn't up yet...maybe this weekend. I don't think I'll decorate my apartment, I won't be there for Christmas, and maybe this is super dorky but I kind of want to wait to start putting up a tree until Zach and I get a place together.

We were surprised by the size of the tree lol. We got it at Costco, and they already have all the trees tied up and ready to go, so you can't get a look at it before buying. Bit of a crapshoot lol but we're happy!
Reason number 463828 why I love Costco.

Oh, and the tree in my room stays up wayyyyy past Christmas lol.

Love everyone's decorations!

Those are all such gorgeous trees. I love all your decorations. Those real trees are special and you can get a different kind each year. They smell so good when they're fresh cut. But alas...I have found that my fake tree is just easier for me to put up since I've been having to do it by myself and they're less messy. But I remember going out and cutting our trees. When I was a kid, I got to have a tree in my own room too....went out on my horse, bareback of course....and carried a hatchet wrapped in a towel and carried in one hand. LOL.

Well...if you haven't seen my decorations already, you can if you want to by clicking this link: (lol) http://www.chazhound.com/forums/showthread.php?t=144702 They're nothing extraordinary or anything....but I did want to do something this year since its kind of a special time for me.

I use to be really into making wreaths...some fresh and some from those fake garland things that are already in the shape of a wreath. One year I made a holly wreath from our holly tree. You need thick leather work gloves for that. *ouch!* Then I wire on little birds, oranges, apples and whatnot. So, this on my door is one I put together myself. There's a wood pecker, a blue bird, another kind of bird and a turkey who sits on the bottom. Then a few other little doo dads and a bow. Its hard to make out the detail in the picture. I kind stick in lots of little thingys in my railing decoration too.

Mandy...when I was four, I climbed up and tried to put the star on our tree and knocked the whole thing over. My Dad fixed it all up, scolded me and told me NOT to do that again, that he'd get to it later. Well....Miss persistent tried it again and repeated the same outcome....lots of broken ornaments and a mess, a scolding and righting the tree yet again. I think this happened about 3 or 4 times I was told when I got older. There was no keeping me from my compulsion to put that star on the tree. For years now, I skip the star and only put a couple of birds up in the tree. They look down on all that is going on underneath them. LOL.

Well, this is a fun thread. I love seeing all the pretty trees and your decorations...gets me in the holiday mood.
