As far as objectifying women, I think Tilted Kilt is worse. At least the Hooters girls wear shirts, shorts, and tights. The Tilted Kilt girls wear bras and skirts. Lol.
But the Tilted Kilt has fantastic food, if I'm remembering correctly. I think it was the place with the delicious fish and chips I went to. . .

Jessie: I wouldn't go to Hooters, honestly. My dad dragged me there a lot as a kid - apparently he was a favorite with the waitresses because of it. It didn't impress me then and I doubt it will now. If I want to see breasts I'll take off my shirt or something. There are better places for wings.

Ive taken Bev a few time during lunch, never taken Connor because he was either at school or not with us. She loves wings and I dont mind theirs never been to BWW. We used to go to the original one alot because my mom liked a salad they had. Its neither here nor there with me.

Did we take you to TK when you were out here? They do have great F&C.

I didn't say they don't have good food, just that their women are a bit more scantily clad than Hooters girls. :p

Hooters is known for their wings, and their wings suck. I don't get it.

I wouldn't say its the perfect place for children, but I don't think its all that bad. I don't like the concept of hooters, but to each their own.
I live in Germany, you see much worse on TV after 10pm. :rofl1:

this 100%

if i want to be titilated by women i don't know, i'd rather give away my money at the nearest single mother's college fund collection point (also known as a nudie bar). it just seems more honest to me. NO ONE remotely pretends to be there for the food. Hooters is just one big lie.

I don't think I would because of the objectifying aspect as well. It's hard enough to send young girls the right message about their bodies. Don't need to counter my own argument, lol. I don't have any moral objections to Hooters and I have been twice but I just wouldn't want to confuse her. It would depend on her maturity and level of understanding as well as her self esteem and whether she had body image issues.

I'm not particularly offended by the place, but as others have pointed out, it's not worth the food so I don't frequent there regardless. Lol!

As for "family friendly", I don't really see it as family UN-friendly... but it doesn't strike me as the first option to take the family to, either.

ETA: I voted for the "Yes, with teenagers/young adults" option, though like I said, it doesn't bother me for any age. It clearly isn't "perfect" for kids, but I wouldn't forbid them from ever setting foot inside, either. I just couldn't in my right mind vote for Hooters "wings". LOL!
