MEDENT.

One of our medical office clients uses this and they LOVE it. From what I see, it performs very well and as advertised.

ALL the others, HATE what they use. "Perfect Care" comes to mind. UGH. And the PCARE support team are rude and complete morons. They read their screens very well, but offer ZERO ability to think outside their little box.
No one thinks outside of boxes anymore. As long as you think in your little box, you are not responsible for thinking, and anything that happens, no matter how bad, is the result of procedure. The minute you think outside of the box, you might actually be held responsible for being a moron.

Which is why it is good to be a Gold Microsoft Partner and a Dell Advanced Partner.

We get US based support, by people who understand what we, the IT company are doing. They get that there is more to the CLIENTS (that is key) world then JUST the product they support. This is huge. Because when we have to call MS or Dell support, we are REALLY in the weeds. We have a good variety of talent at our company, so if we need to call someone, its BAD. LOL

WAY worth the extra $$$ its costs to be that level a partner.

Not in our area.
My husband is a doc and in charge of a service at 3 hospitals and they can't hire anyone. There are at least 20 job openings on his service alone. No experience is necessary because they have to go through 3 months training anyway and they can not get near enough people. And these nurses jobs are paying close to $50 a hour.
Links please cuz I am moving;) Is it cold there lol!

3 months training means critical care and those are hard to fill. Those are often open a long time everywhere. They will usually end up taking new grads even though they say experienced here.

Here agencies are the only thing that pays anywhere near that. But most have shut down because the lack of nurses there may have been eight years ago or so is gone.

When they closed our facility in another town to turn it into the nursing home even through there where technically job openings(much more than twenty to) there were no openings to put the nurses in  So even though it always looks like there are openings places it does not mean there are. Its ridiculous.

We use soarian for our medical charting. But they do not have it all incorporated into one thing yet so we are still using several different systems to admit, d/c, print things, pass meds, pull meds etc. It is getting better though. Its just for what they pay you would think it could be better! I am a super user (or loser as my loving coworkers call me!) so I get to teach everyone on the floor how to use everything. We just started using the new med pass system yesterday:cool::rolleyes:

I think I would like to go into education eventually since that is what I am doing on the floor with my peers so often now anyway. All I do is teach how to use the computers now. Who has time to be a nurse:p
