I suppose in a way we should all be relieved.
No, I'm serious. For once, the professional PR folks and the lawyers have been unable to step in to do damage control before the participants managed to reveal themselves to be the utter clowns and cowards that they are. And before the accused managed to go on television and act like the stereotype of a sociopathic pedophile. Its a complete train wreck, and I feel sorry for all the perfectly innocent people who go/went to Penn State who are going to have to suffer through this.
But there's something almost refreshing in the way this is totally spinning out of the control of the spin-doctors. The revelations are horrifying, but they are actually being revealed.
