I'd think she misinterpreted if Grammy wasn't saying that in nearly every thread you post. But as it is, it does come off as though she has a problem with your personal life. While apparently that's not what she means by it, before her clarification in this thread that was what I thought as well.
I completely missed it then. Oh well. I know she has said some things before that didn't sit with me well. yeah....

A little update... my fiance is calling the courts right now, and I am somewhat nervous as to what they will tell him. I'll have to give another update when he is done.

Good luck, Reggin. I don't really have much advice to give, but I'll send some

((((((((((((GOOD VIBES)))))))))))))

your way.

And they're better-working good vibes, since they're pink ;)

They should give the guy a break - he was a minor - most of us did things as kids and were lucky not to get caught. His life has changed for the better and he is a good citizen.

Wishing you the best outcome.

Thanks for the kind words, guys. I appreciate it.

UPDATE:

After calling he found out that after he pays all his fines (2,500), does 30 hours of community service, and gets his GED (he dropped out his senior year), then he will be on probation for awhile and thats it.

Its a hell of a lot better than having to do time where he will miss out on his childrens lives. I am very happy and so is he.

Looks like we are moving to Oklahoma. The question is WHEN!! :D

I'm glad you guys will be moving there... I think it will be a great place for your kids to grow up! who doesn't like 25 acres of dirt to play and trees to climb when your a kid! LOL.

I am so very excited. Land for not only the kids but for my hyper active dogs as well. Reggin will have a blast.

He is very surprised that they basically only want his money. lol.

Good news that he'll be able to just pay the fines and do the CS. It's also admirable that he is taking care of his responsibilities. Too many people would have said, "$2,500? Screw that, I'll stay on the run." Sounds like he's got his priorities set straight now.

His fines are going to be more around 3,000 after taxes.. But were prepared to take care if if no matter how much it comes out to be. Cant pass up something that will change the rest of our lives.
